Still not too far off in this week's sales, about 100,000 difference, which really isn't too bad, it's amazing how well Nintendo is currently doing in Japan.

so 2 million for mario the next next week?

Sony can't keep up, and that trend is going to continue with Wii, no doubt about it.

Jesus another 170k for Mario that is amazing and Brian training really goes without saying i wonder we will stop seeing it in the top 10

Lets just hope that the 2D platforms can emiliate the New Mario Bros in Mario vs. Dk, Yoshi's Island, Dk King of Swing and also Super Paper Mario on GCN

If that's true it's an appalling start for Magical Vacation. But it'll teach Nintendo to face off against the might on Square Enix in the RPG field...Hopefully Magical Starsign will do better on 23rd October in the US.

well if you compare the GCN to the PS2 so can't really say that Nintendo is Japan and Japan is Nintendo

Well it looks like Japan is Nintendo right now....we'll see how long it stays that way.

are the hardware numbers confirmed?

I think the reason why Valkyrie does not sell that well compared to Dirge is the fact, that Dirge ist Final Fantasy after all. Valkyrie is a sequel to a game, that is loved but not that well known as FF.
I do not want to blame Square-E for having good selling numbers, they make excellent games! That's why we all want Square-Enix back on Nintendo-Wii.

I grab my New Super Mario Bros too this Friday, no matter what!
DS-Lite sells more than twice as much as all following six combined!!!

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Ace, Digimon Story is getting some pretty nice sales, I'm sure I reservered a review of that at some point. Smilie
