Issue 12

Issue 12 of the Cubed3 Nintendo Podcast sees a veritable plethora of gaming audio fun. For the first time ever, we're taking your music requests (listen to the show for details on how to do request your track) and we're also joined by two XBOX experts in the form of James Woodcock former Chief Editor of XboxRules.com and general know-it-all and Barrie Rogers from the website 360Monster. Learn Korean and Gaming History are back once more and we've got a full round up of all our recent review content. Woodcock's Blog - technology, gaming and the bizarre. Featuring audio podcasts!

Microsoft wont make a gameing hand-held, because they have yet to turn a profit on the Xbox or Xbox360.

The exact same rumour also points to a "IPOD killer"..something else microsoft wont make because it wouldnt work.
They will just make their own version of a small, portable PC/PDA/Organami thing, imo.

Mr Riley, WTF. Learn Korean borders on insane this week.

    Smilie

I need to give this a listen, it's difficult chunking an hour aside though! What do people think of the (unintentionally longer) debate, and the shortened review round up?

    Smilie

    Starget!

Liked the review round-up, but not because it was shorter. You sounded much better this week, more at ease. As for the debate, it flowed well and the new people gave it a freshness.

I was in a bit of a 'I don't give a stuff' mood to be honest and not being as much of a perfectionist as normal, hence why there might be a couple of mutterings in there and I know there's at least one unusual pause as I got distracted mid-sentence. I just blathered on for a couple of minutes and only did the one take, and it felt a lot better to me than usual as well, so I'll be taking that approach more often from now on!

Super, I must try that next time I do something on the podcast. It's usually 48 takes, but if doing one imprefect take sounds like that (your effort) then I think a change of tactic is needed Smilie

Nintendo thumb = really long and bloody hard Korean phrase Smilie

I'm struggling to find easier ones. It's-a-me, Mario was the easiest so far!!

Anyways good show, loved the way the Xbox lovers and Nintendo nuts embraced Sony with such open arms

I would ahve given you a star for that obviously non-sarcastic commentSmilie. But alas, the give star button has never worked onme...what a shame really.

That was a great episode. It's really geetting better and so is the editing.Smilie

Can I make suggestions? Well I'm going to make some anywaySmilie. Why not get Adam as a co-host? So the introduction and wrap-up are more exciting.

Technology permitting that could indeed work. We were going to have a different host each week originally, but I kind of stuck around like a bad smell...

Trying to think of a witty signature after 'Hacker-gate'...

I prefer it just being James as the host now. Adam does other features, and so hearing him doing two features, usually the debate, and hearing him hosting might get too much - not that Adam has a bad voice, it's just that people may get bored hearing the same voice over again, whereas now I think it's nicely split up with the different people for features and the different host.

Hopefully you guys are making a podcast (I quote) "in light of recent events"?
