In the last month various lists have begun to hit the Internet with Wii games that have release dates in the Wii launch period. More recently another has cropped up with supposedly confirmed titles that will release alongside Nintendo's fifth home console.
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender (THQ)
  • Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII (Ubisoft)
  • Blitz: The League (Midway)
  • Call of Duty 3 (Activision)
  • Cars (THQ)
  • Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Atari)
  • Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Square Enix)
  • Elebits (Konami)
  • Excite Truck (Nintendo)
  • Far Cry (Ubisoft)
  • GT Pro Series (Ubisoft)
  • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers (Square Enix)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Nintendo)
  • Madden NFL 07 (EA)
  • Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (Activision)
  • Metal Slug Anthology (SNK)
  • Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Nintendo)
  • Monster 4x4 World Circuit (Ubisoft)
  • Need for Speed: Carbon (EA)
  • Open Season (Ubisoft)
  • Rayman Raving Rabbids (Ubisoft)
  • Red Steel (Ubisoft)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab (THQ)
  • Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (Sega)
  • Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam (Activision)
  • Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Atlus)
  • Wii Sports (Nintendo)

The list stems from gaming website NWizard. Nintendo has yet to officially comment on the list, so take some of the titles on the list with a pinch of salt.

    Stay tuned for updates!

i have to say that i expect most of these games to make an appearance in the launch window, not launch day and as far as i'm concerned that is a good thing as i will be able to afford more if they are spread up to christmas. i do want about 10 or so of them. it does seem a little weird to stunt sales by releasing two AAA tites on day one. but i guess one is kinda a GC game. it may be best to seperate zelda and mp3 and let the likes of redsteel, rayman and excite truck get some sales before mp3. but then there is expected to be an announcement about mario that may make christmas. but i dont know. we all wait for leipzieg.

New guy; and may i just say that this is one of the best forums i've been to, that said, i just read that Metroid and Drangon quest may not be a launch title, i think this is a straegic move by nintendo to allow third party games to sell without being overshadowed.

This isnt a launch lineup- at best theyll be out at some point in the first 6 months. Ubisoft arent going to release 7 games in one day.

As said in the article, launch period/window.

Elebits seems like a title that is being overlooked alot it looks great fun a mix between Pikmin and Chibi robo with a zapprfrom hat i have seem, only Hazuki has mentioned it i don't think i will get it on day one but maybe somewhere down the line.

Sonic is rumoured to be around the January to March 07 window along with mario and Smash Bros but Sonic can't be seen as a major system seller anymore it's games just don't sell in Europe or japan

& Revolution why you getting Need for Speed.

Sega derhund has a point there is more form Ubi than there is from Nintendo

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the cliché. They were the statement and the definition."

why do you keep calling him Sega Derhund?Smilie Even if it's meant as a joke it's just not funny...It's weird that I'm standing up for him, but hey, there's a first for everything...Smilie

Elebits does seem like a fun game though, I might pick it up. Don't know which games I'm getting around launch period though...Smilie

I don't get the joke. You have to explain it to me. It's not a german joke, that's for sure...

Yes, Elebits is only on my monitor-list. I want to see more of it. I feel ashamed already because I did not buy Chibi-Robo...!
