The GC version of strikers was quite fun so I can't wait to see what Ninty bring to the table in the form of a sequel

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Do we really want this? I dont. Where as it could be interesting, it weill probably be the same as the gc version with some new moves. Looks like ea are having a bad effect on nintendo mario fifa is here. we'll update it with something pointless every year. whoop de do.

Sorry guys just really dissapointed in nintendo's lack of effort they could ahve given us one major piece of something even if it was just a quick glimpse of ssmb.

The online play has made it more appealing to me. More interested in it now. Smilie

Woooooooo!!!

It was called Smash Football over here, not Strikers, so will they cal it Mario Smash Footbal Charged? Bit of a mouthfull.

i Guess they'll call it Mario Football Charged. As the smash sounds a bit out of place with the charged on the end.

The general consesus is that yes we all do, granted it isn't a metroid or zelda game but it will be a brilliant game to play with your mates, i really don't know what you were hoping for it ,Shenmue 3 and Kid Icarus

Anything really. dont pay attention to me.i get really excited when it comes to nintendo and so ultimately feel let down. i'm sure they be good arcade stuff.

One of the screenshots isn't working for me and I really want to see it.

I think they are working now there is also a video of it as well

Why must all the screenshots come with a picture of someone holding the Wii-mote? It doesn't tell us anything about the game!

This game appears to have loooooooooong loading times. I hope Nintendo fixes this, because I won't wait 13 seconds for a match, no sir.

Revolution is the solution.

Nope, it's for the homeconsole, Wii Smilie

GC version did raise my eyebrows a bit because I felt that it didn't really live up to the rep Nintendo usually has. In a sense, they were victims of their own success.

But, I do think that they have it in them to make another master piece with Mario football line. It's their second try, and I think it will play much better than the previous one.

You give people what they want and people want an online Mario football!!! Hell yeah!!!Smilie

I'm not sure about a sequel so soon to be honest. It was a fun little multiplayer game, but is there really enough in it to create a second game less than a year after the first was released?

Sure, it'll be a great advantage to have it online, but half of the fun of the original was knocking your mate into an electric fence and stealing the ball and to be able to turn, see their reaction, hear their swearing voice back at you, retort cockily...this won't translate as well to online play. They're going to have to expand it a lot to make up for this. While they're at it, they need to sort out the single player mode, pronto, as I could count on one hand the number of times I played it solo.

Another thing I don't like from the video is how when a player hits the ball at your goal it becomes a mini-game in which you have to save the ball. Motion sensing shoved in where it isn't necessary.
