Mario is set to take a short break from the Mushroom Kingdom and visit McDonalds in the US with interactive toys to encourage kids to get active, and "Take the Mario Challenge."

With every Happy Meal comes an exclusive toy this September, which McDonalds say will allow kids to "enjoy outdoor fun with these beloved characters." From a big mallet to attack innocent people on the street, to a Donkey Kong Throw and Go Spinner disc for massive damage, there's a varied selection of toys to collect. For those who have finished exercising with their gifts, Nintendo are also giving away DS Mario bundles to lucky eaters.

Stick with C3 for future updates.

It looks okay I guess. One thing- that "Take The Mario Challenge" logo looks like something that someone did on MS Publisher in 5 minutes. Ah well.

If those plastic hammers get into the wrong sort of hands, it could spell street violence of an unimaginable scale. *shudders*

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the cliché. They were the statement and the definition."

All the better! You're getting two toys! *jumps*

Hey, that's America: Buy fat-loaded food to get a toy, which animates you to do some outdoor-activities... *lol*

Actually some of the sonic toys were pretty cool. This one you pressed a button and Sonic would jump over the obstacles, while the screen was scrolling. A pretty neat 'give-a-way' toy.
