Nintendo News | Target Australia Offers Wii Preorder Bonus

By Jorge Ba-oh 09.10.2006 16

Retail store Target has begun to satisfy their Wii customers by taking pre-orders for the console when it hits Australia later this year. Fancy a Wii with a little extra incentive?

The Australian branches of Target will be offering a special bonus for those who pre-order the Wii and have revealed their plans through its online catalogue pages.

  • Wii will hit stores on 7th December in Australia.
  • Pre-orders will require a $20 (AUS) deposit.
  • A voucher booklet with $600 (AUS) worth of special offers will be available to those who pre-order.

Thanks to Vooks for the tip.

Stick with C3 for future updates.

If you preorder at Toys R US, you get a free game.

Lol, that's very true - I read that over on Vooks too - hopefully there'll be similar deals in other regions.

    Hope they don't mean Wiisports....

Wow, good offer. But I think it's like "Get a game for 10 $ less" or such. Than you have to buy 60 games to use upt the vouchers... *g*

But a free game at Toys? That's a good one! Get Zelda, guys!
I have preordered Wii at a very small gaming-store I order games from the beginning a hundred years ago... something like this.

Order Wii where you want, but having it for sure at 8th December or 19th of November is something no free gift can take away. Better not getting a present and having Wii on launch day. That's more important, don'T you think?
Can you be certain to get Wii on launch-date at the big stores like Toys or BG?

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

    ^Yes, that's what a pre-order is.

I think they have a similar deal at Myers, $600 in vouchers and about $1000 for a PS3.

I hope GAME do a bundle with Zelda

They are but its not all that cheap really.
    The bundle is

Rejoice for the Lord will taketh his quarter and give much back to his followers.

Hmm I haven't seen any good offers yet for UK. I am buying after Christmas anyway so hopefully there will be a good one then.

    Woooooooo!!!

Actually, doing the maths the GAME bundle is 1p MORE expensive than buying them seperate. It may only be a penny but GAME are still charging you more than the RRP.

    That is because 73|-| 64m3 1z 73|-| z|_|xx0R1!!!!1!!!

(It took me quite a while to write that lol

Buy a wii get 2 free voucher?

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

GAME told me that they still have to have a meeting with Nintendo to confirm launch games, so until thn no bundles

I wonder who here at Cubed3 is planning on spending the most at Wii launch?

I buy all my clothes at Target... Makes sense I'd preorder my Wii at Target.
