Nintendo Wii Media | DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Screens

By Jorge Ba-oh 22.10.2006 7

Another system, another dose of Dragonball Z action. Promising to be one of the biggest fighting titles to date, Goku returns into battle with his friends and foes on the Wii.

The game features an incredible cast of characters from the entire series, feature movies and spin-off tales complete with Wii/GameCube controls and the complete story from beginning to end.

NGC France have obtained a selection of screens from the title's story mode (may containing character spoilers) to gawp at. The screens are from the Playstation 2 version however, which is said to be near identical to the Wii edition (graphically/content wise).

Be sure to check out the game's screens album for additional shots.

Hmm, the cell shading does look a bit shite in places - in particular the hands. I may pick this up, it sounds great to have the entire series in one game!

OMFG! SSJ4 GOGETTA! That guy warrants a purchase(for me anyways)Smilie! I was gonna buy it anyway but still...

And the cell shading looks pretty good overall, but the hands do look a bit shitey... Not too big a prob though seeing the hands will be moving too fast to actually notice it, most of the time.

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

This is a bit of me! Personally, i think the screens look good. The atention to Krillen (bald one), with battle damage and weak look good. I'm gonna get ths on release!

Should be easy to make, at least- considering how little actual drawing was in the tv series. Smilie

To be honest I'm not sure you could make the cell-shaded style of the DBZ games look much better than it already does. I think it looks fine personally
