Nintendo News | Nibris Confirms Wii and DS Line-Up; New Games

By Mike Mason 26.10.2006 32

Nibris sent us an email earlier today that gave us some planned time-frames for their games' releases. Within the email, they also mentioned a couple of new projects that have not previously been heard of.

  • Raid Over The River (DS) - Q2 2007/Q3 2007
  • Double Pang [Working Title] (DS) - Q2 2007
  • Double Pang [Working Title] (Wii) - Q4 2007
  • Sadness (Wii) - Q4 2007/Q1 2008 [in collaboration with Digital Amigos and Frontline Studios]
  • Raid Over The River (Wii) - Q3 2008
  • They also confirmed that they are most definitely in possession of and are working on Wii and DS development kits.

Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what the new projects are, but let's hope that they can keep up with it all! We will be receiving more information about the new projects next week barring any problems, so keep a look out if you're even remotely interested in Nibris.

Great stuff I'm really pleased with what this developer is doing for Nintendo consoles in general. If you check out the About ection of their site its a nice read. I think that its under about or something like that.

Not much else to say really, roll on the new info on the games.

BTW I have the guy that did the site on my deviantWatch he really does some fabulous stuff.

Yeah they're site is fantastic, shame it hasn't been updated in months.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

all of them are are coming out in late 2007 or early 2008.... tooo looonggg

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Nibris have never released a game, I can't justify getting excited about any of this when all they've given us so far is a good website. Of course give them a fair chance and watch this closely, they could be a great developer, but until they release a game we just don't know whether any of this is going to be good or bad.

    Sad but true.
...how is this true? We could be in for a STONKER! Smilie Smilie
Its a good guess. With the Wiis marketing and target audience, Sadness and RotR will probably sell like piss. Somethings got to pay for them, and if anything the DS has proven that shallow tripe sells.^the above is drasticaly exagerated and blown out of all proportion.( Edited on 28.10.2006 00:18 by Grumbler )

Theres nothing wrong with 'small but fun' games, the key word being 'fun'. From what you say about the DS, as with any popular format they'll always be a lot of bad games cashing in, amongst all the good games.
