Update: More media, see below

With the Wii release just over a fornight away, the excitement is growing ever stronger and Nintendo have released a set of short teaser videos with people going hands on with the final build of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

The company have also released several new shots from the Wii version on Game Watch.

Videos can be found on The Official Wii site.

Yet even more twilight princess videos have emerged on the site and have been youtubed - two fresh trailers for the game - however they do contain spoilers. Thanks to C3 reader Dr_R for the updates.

Wowzers. Some ares we've seen before, but looking a lot better now (at least for wii versin of course)

Hehe, some really awesome looking screens, nice vids too. I loved playing this game when I had the chance a little while back, should be a killer app for the Wii most definitely!

I think I'm excited about the new Zelda, I dunno what it is though but I'm finding it hard to get hyped about it, I know I'll love the shit out of it when I start playing but right now I dunno, maybe its the fact that I've played Okami. Okami is full of innovation and great game design it almost trumps Zelda in most aspects except for story(AND KNOWING WHEN TO END IT!). I dunno it'll be great just after you see Okami its just different.

Ooooh they do look rather nice...

Man I want this game now for feck's sake ;_;

Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

This game is so going to rock but i can't imagine all nighters will happen with all the noise you will make.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Lol those videos are priceless. You could use some those those reactions in an advert lol. I like the look of the sword fighting, not immidietly responsive(from the video) however the animations do closly match the wiimote swings. Also a nice thing to note the speed of which you can alternate between an attck with the wiimote(swordslash) to the nunchuck unit (spinn atack). One video with the japanese guy shows that really well.

I really do think that the wii version will be just as good, if not better than the GC version. As Z targeting is still in there Smilie

I am loving those pics and vids, they've changed my mind. I was against the Wii version at first, but with it's release nearing here in America(19 days!!!!)and the GC version more than a month away, I'm impatient and definitely getting the Wii version now.

This here will be the only game I'll get this xmas...xmas is supposed to be family time and all, i know, but who needs family when you have great games like this? Smilie

Yes it looks brilliant but I wish it would show you more of the game rather than some plonkers who cant even play it propley.

the uppermost screenshot looks great! Smilie I'm really looking forward to this game Smilie

this is so cool i love it

It is looking really nice. Shame about the jaggies, but you can't have everything can you...Smilie

Now, where are the latest GC vids and screens? Huh! Smilie

God damn that widescreen is nice. Is this enough reason to convince people to buy the Wii version? It's going to look heck a lot nicer even if it's not in widescreen and 480p.

Ph00p I sorta understand what you mean but from a different viewpoint. Sometimes when you wait endlessly for a game to come out a small part of you starts to lose interest. Don't worry though I'm pretty sure when you turn it on for the first time and start to play, you're gonna be blown away.

Man I'm really Chuffed about these screens. The graphics are detailed colourful and smoothSmilie

You guys wanted more of the game, and here we go.

Fucking hell. Some quality stuff there! Nintendo seem to have improved the animation for certain things - like the wolf transformation etc.

Schweet!

Cheers for the swift update jb. Those shorts from the japanese website are pretty good too. Love the music on movie 3 and the fights in movie 4 (trying not to include spoilers peeps).

actually, that I find a good thing to think! Because you don't get overhyped and you can enjoy Zelda when you insert it into Wii.
I think again like OLU:
I now reached the point where I do not watch much more trailers, because they ruin the atmosphere. It is much more satisfying to feel and see Link getting his green garment as to read five cold word written on a colourless page somewhere. You know what I mean?

But anyway: I love how Link looks in the second picture. The model is very detailed, his arms are strong and muscled, that is appropriate for a cowboy I think. He overall resembles the artwork and that's wonderful. Look how the HDI-rendering supports the feel of the wonderful lake. It's a greatgreat graphics-style, I tell you!

jb, is it save to watch the videos? I do not want to get to much spoiled, but I want to see some decent moving pictures of this game!

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

The first main one (Youtubed) has no spoilers really, it's the TP version of the classic OOT scene where Link rides on his horsey around (what I presume is) Hyrule.

The second is a little bit more spoiler-ish. I really wouldn't watch it as there are some minor spoilers in the beginning and some major towards the end - i.e. I think it shows the main baddie walking into a building accompanyed by two of those weirdo creatures, a few other scenes are retakes of what we've seen before though - i.e. link transforming into Wolfy etc.

The 5 minor vidoes have a few spoilers, but nothing too major. *Maybe* worth watching those.

This game looks absolutely sweet. I love the intro, it just brings back some memories of OOT! I can't wait to explore this bigger, better looking overworld! I've already played a few dungeons and combining that experience with these videos can safely stay that it's going to absolutely rock.

Smilie Not long now! Our lucky friends from the US get their TP action in just over 2 weeks. Madness!

thanks, jb.

Awesome, properly got goosebumps for that second video thanks to the music!

Can't wait for this, I definately HAVE to find some more money for the Wii, I know I could buy the GameCube version but to be honest I feel the urge to play the Wii iteration more!

Definately, definately! Enjoyed the whole OoT-esque intro and the classic Zelda tune in the second vid made my neck tingle Smilie

Me no watchy or read TP topics. Me want to sustain Zelda-induced boner for long time.

Less posty, more gamey.

Wonderful looking videos--they've got me wanting the game again.
