Okay... Wow. Looks absolutely fantastic! Certainly a must buy this Christmas. The ground/wall textures still have the murky feel to them though.

I dont think i'll be able to bare not getting a Wii and a copy of this for christmas. I still haven't preordered mine yet please tell me I have a chance of getting this. I actually think i,ll cry if dont get seriously I will because it's that good.

Have I still got a chance of getting this and a Wii?

Its looking very Fableish, but I enjoyed that game so I'll enjoy this one too.

This...and I don't want to pre-empt anything, will be the best game ever. Matt casamasina clocks the game at 70+ hours of beautiful zelda. This is gaming as an art form.

I saw some new screens on the IGN website by accident as I was reading the impressions (which were very good). There is a picture of zelda in the preview, looks very good. Very nice bloom.

P.S The game looks so much better in motion.

One niggling little point for me. I hope I can get rid of the display of buttons on screen. They are very intrusive and I just want to look at the beautiful scenery.

It was always an anoyance for me on OoT (not enough to spoil the game) that the controls where constantly shown, and that I was constantly re-told how to do things.

this is so cool

Ya I know what you mean, I wish they were a bit more transparent.

How bizzarre, i just came on C3 to ask the exact same question. I was going to go down to Gamestation a bit later, and i'll ask the question for ya. Have in mind im in a city so its most likely unlikely that i will be able to get one. If ure in a small town you could have a chance of getting one Smilie

*faints*

*wakes up* Me having a fable for wonderful models (look at my Avatar and my profile pic), loving mangas and the lithe style therein, I think these models are looking absolutely stunning. I was taken aback by the concept arts showing beerbellies and so on, but this woman in the picutres (doesn't matter if she is Zelda or not) is looking stunning, as does Link, Epona and the overall look with smooth small HDR and wonderful colors. This alone puts everyone quiet complaining about graphic capabilities on Wii and Cube. I don't know if 'the Woman' is pre rendered, but if not, it's much more stunning. I can't tell, and that's every graphics whore dream, isn't it?

I know that graphics matters almost nothing to a good game, but if it fits into it, all the better.
I think like jb, that the starting-screen-trailer shows the bridge, land and textures on it quite blocky and very low in resolution. But I think that's because of the huge terrain and far-sight. You have to appreciate that. But It matters not to me, as the feeling when playing Ocarina of Time was so being-into-it, that even today I forget the N64-graphics almost instantly when inserting it into my 64.
With this I am playing Zelda AND drooling over graphics. Wonderful!

Nintendo can be proud of the money and time they put into it and getting this fine results. I can't but study every screenshot. That sounds cheesy, but it's the truth. I am crazy, no?

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Lol, that should be good for you then Smilie, i went into Gamestation in birmingham today and they gave me the news that over 300 preorders have been placed for release date, however they are still taking preorders as they say they should be able to fufil orders for 2006! So if i were you i would get to preordering quickly. They told me that itshighly likely that i will get a Wii near release date as some people pull out of getting one. Its a

The top screen looks like its been smeared with vaseline. Is Niice.

Aye, Twilight Princess is basicaly very nice PS2 graphics with a thousand tonnes of bloom lighting.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

I like how the game looks in the second screen but then i see the models in the last pic and it doesnt look all too great. Im no 360 graphics whore *cough* Knighty *cough* but for a game that Nintendo have been working on for 3 years or more should look even better then we expect it to....

which in point could lead to infinte expectations leading to the BEST GRAPHICS EVER! :O but such expectations would never be met and the Universe will fold and explode! Smilie

this just feeds my hunger for this game i must get it as soon as possible

No. Fucking look at the low polygon models, areas and crap blurry texture you bat. Look at the ground in that last screen and the sape of the cave in the second. It only looks good when there are loads of lighting effects going off.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Aw, come on chaps, it looks okay. Not that bad.

Well I think the quality of the pics has a part to play in that, but yes, the texture on the floor hit me straight away when I looked at it.

And since when does liking good graphics make me a graphics whore flynnie? Smilie

*cant wait*

It looks fine, but people often say it's one of the best looking games on the GC, when it clearly isn't. RE4 came out AGES ago, but Nintendo can only get this out of their own console from their biggest studio on their biggest game? It's a bit dissappointing.

There's no excuse for those grass textures, they're barely better than the ones in Ocarina

, and the GC was supposed to have ground breaking texture compression.

It doesn't look bad, it just looks 3rd party.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

On a different note....why are Nintendo releasing such HORRID screenshots?

^ those buildings and bridge look really good.
