Nintendo DS News | Ubisoft Announces Two New Games

By Adam Riley 05.12.2006 12

Continuing the slew of new releases from Ubisoft, the French company has revealed to Cubed3 there will be two more new DS games due for release next year. My Pet Hotel and My Vet Practise are both slated for 16th February, 2007, whilst a couple of other games have had their dates amended:

  • Far Cry 2006 (Wii) - 05/01/2007
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (DS) - 30/03/2007
  • Sadly, no details have yet to be released regarding the two new DS games, other than the genre apparently being 'Petz Simulation', in an attempt to cash in on the current pet games craze (nintendogs and The Sims 2: Pets being the main winners).

Be sure to stick with Cubed3 for any further updates...

FAR CRY didnt expect that until march...
and some more UBI crap coming to DS

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

I thought Far Cry was out at launch?

Good point, it could be because it has got a diffrent name to the other Farcry game (can't think of the name)
If it is I really hope it has online.

Yeah, the one that's on release is FC:Vengeance isn't it? The one released in 2007 will be FC 200..and erm...6.
Hopefully with the features missing from Vengeance that were on the XBox360.

A load of shite no doubt.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

There's only one Far Cry game on the Wii, people obviously just think that the Wii doesn't need a single game until next year...

You are missing the point Far Cry has been listed as a launch title by both ubi and Nintendo

Hate to break it to you guys, but Far Cry is NOT listed as a launch game by Ubisoft. This is the only version of the game on its current schedule (the one they sent me earlier today).

Anyway, two new 'Petz' games. Hey, if it expands the DS userbase we can't complain too much.
