Following the leaked release list from Ignition that appeared on Cubed3, Atari and Ignition Entertainment have today confirmed Mercury Meltdown Revolution is definitely making the franchise's first foray on Wii.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution is a brain-teasing puzzle game that challenges players to immerse themselves in a colourful world of sci-fi machines, crazy characters, and bubbling test tubes. I don't like the idea of it supporting the Wii controller and the classic controller, because that makes me suspect that there must be a problem with the Wiimote control in this game, or else why would you choose to use the classic controller. Theres nothing wrong with classic controls but it should be one or the other. But still I was interested in this game on PSP (one of the few), so this is now one less reason to get one.

Why is it that Metal Slug and this game (Both not what Id consider to be hugely hyped games) are the only ones that have gone for the sensible option with two control schemes? Seriously... Its a bloody mystery to me

It makes sense but games are so much better with the Wii remote.
