DS is final fantasy heaven at the moment...well not at the moment because they're not out yet but...

That makes 3 in development and one already out...

Best news i've heard all year, tactics is my fave game on gba and with wifi trading and fights its going to ruleSmilie

Is 70% of SE dedicated to DS development now or something? Bloody hell...

This is cool, I loved FF Tactics. Brilliant game. I just never had any friends who also owned it...they borrowed it and loved it but I had no-one to fight against.

Fantastic news. FFTA was a great game and the touch screen is sure to make moving around easier on the battle maps in a DS version.

So good to see Square back to their best with Nintendo.

AHHH!!! YES!!! They're actually listening to us! Now about that no Wi-Fi Crystal Chronicles....

hoooraaayyy for FF... Smilie S-E and Nintey are getting very close lately! Lets hope they (S-E) start making some quality games for the Wii! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

FF Tactics was a beast of a game on the GBA. I'm so chuffed. Smilie

*faints*

So there's a port of FFT (from the PSOne) coming to the PSP, and this new version is coming to the DS...Great news indeed!

Hopefully more details will emerge from Jump Festa, although apparently info is hard to get out of there at the moment...

Did Tactics do well?

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

tactics games sucks.. make a new real final fantasy game instead.

Absolutely loved FFTA. Great news.

I'm hoping they use as little of the DS's functionality as possible. FFTA was a great game as the gameplay was not that complicated, the extra features of the DS can make it more complicated which would be a bad thing. Just make FFTA with wi-fi and I'll be happy.

I've never tried Tactics.

To be honest i'd prefer a classic Final Fantasy title, but I might give it a try this time around.

You think you've got problems.
What are you supposed to do if you are a manically depressed robot?
No don't even bother to answer that.
It just gives me a headache trying to think down to your level.

This is all nice but we won't see any of this wonderful FF stuff for ages in Europe because it is all constantly delayed.
