An interesting scan from Japanese magazine Nikkei Business reveals some Wii development prototypes showing some of the ideas behind the machine's remote device.
Before Nintendo unveiled the Wii remote and nunchuck, the world came up with various ideas on what the console's input device would look like - from a GameCube adaptation to a chunky controller with many screens, fans had it covered. The magazine reveals some interesting ideas Nintendo themselves had, from a laughable giant circular star to what nearly resembles the finished product in a sleek black shell.
