Dragon Quest Monsters Storms Japan
Following on from the massive seller that was Final Fantasy III on the Nintendo DS in Japan, Square Enix has just launched Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker there and the first day sales are now available.

Nintendo's Wii Nears 2 Million Mark
Quick News - According to a report on CNBC, from November until 25th December, 2006, Nintendo's Wii sold 1.8 million units, XBOX 360 sold 2 million and the PlayStation 3 managed 750,000 units. Complete numbers will become available via NPD at a later time.

Nintendo of Japan has announced yet more incentives for living in Japan and also being a Platinum member of the company's Club Nintendo points service - the choice of personalised covers for your Wii remote or an exclusive DS Tingle game, of Zelda fame.

Quick News: The official site for EA's Sim City DS has launched in Japan, with character details, and the regular dose of boxarts, a couple screens and tidbits of game details.

Konami Brings Contra to Wii?
Quick News: The Konami classic, Contra 3: The Alien Wars, seems to be on its way to the Wii virtual console service, according to Kotaku The ESRB has rated the title E10+, alongside various others that have been recently added.
