Nothing new there really.

BTW Birdo, this is a huge hope from SEGA & the whole Sonic fan community, if this game fails, basically so does Sonic.

From what little we've seen it's definitely one of the Wii's best looking & most wanted games.

Looks impressive, just like every other 3D Sonic game.

I suppose it should play better than all the recent Sonic console games purely because the camera is going to be fixed. Smilie

There are a few very minor new scenes from past traliers, doesn't look 1/2 bad imo.. should hopefully be a decent game, if they get the control right..

Judging by past efforts it's going to be crap though, isn't it? Ever since Sonic Adventure things have been shit, they're going to have to give up on sonic if this game turns out to be poor...speaking of which, whats going on with Sonic Team these days? I heard Phantasy Star Universe was crap too Smilie I really loved PSO...

Thing is though this has been getting positive press ever since Sega let people play bits of the game.
A lot of people are saying it feels more like the old 2D ones because if the retricted movement aswell...!
I hope it's good, I havn't bought a Sonic game on a console since the megadrive days(well apart from mega collecion).

Anyone else seen the first multiplayer screens yet? Shows mini games with 4 players facing off. Looks like Aym Knuckles & Tails are all there, they looks great. The Wii has some good graphics after all.

Critically, 3D Sonic has always been hated. This game looks to change all of that. Ever since people have had their hands on this game they seem to thouroughly enjoy it compared with other Sonic 3D titles.

It's a real shame to hear about PSU being crap. Thought Sonic Team would be abl to pull it off. Oh well, at least I'm not really jealous of Sonic Team titles on other platoforms any more!

Damn this shit looks like a god damned snowboarding game or something with the view glued behind his arse for the whole game, shit there goes another chance at a great game :/ .

There was ONE good game recently I'm not sure if Team Sonic made the DS game Sonic Rush, but that was a great solid 2d platformer that was an instant classic, almost.

Also, don't diss snowboarding games. SSX On Tour is one LEG of a game. I do agree with you though on Sonic Rush. What an amazing(ly short Smilie ) game.

They may have had it bad recently, but if you read another of my posts, this is by the guys who did Project Rub, which was really good.

Since I'm a Sonic fan, I WOULD be getting my hopes up for this. If this game fails then chances are Sonic will never have a good 3D game. Just 2D ones. & they'll probably be like Rivals.

Sonic Rush was developed by Dimps. I'm not getting my hopes up OR down for this game, not untill I see reviews.
I think it have a big chance of being better, seeing this uses a whole new control method and a whole new kind of camera, which basically means they changed both things that made the other 3D Sonic games so crap. I'm not saying it WILL be good, but it does have potential, and I'm hoping they can really make a good game out of this. Won't be expecting anything untill the reviews... Smilie

Oh wow, it seems they've decided to replace the excellent soundtrack of the Sonic Adventure games with random thrashing of drums! That won't get annoying Smilie

Personally I don't buy anything the press has been saying about this game. The only problem I had with the Sonic Adventures was the buggy controls, and it doesn't look like that's changed at all. The method of control is definitely worse as far as I'm concerned, so I don't see how it'll be able to beat SA1 and 2...

There's nothing I'd like more than for this to be the nuts. But this looks to me like the same old shit with cow-steering controls thrown in. I can't see what the hell's going on in half the trailer - it's just a blurry mess attempting to blind me into thinking it's a decent game. What the fuck's going on with that music? Why do they feel they have to make him edgy and 'cool'? He's a blue hedgehog for fuck's sake, some lacklusture D&B won't drag him into the realm of credibility. It just further distances him from his Green Hill roots (remember them?!)

I have a feeling the speed ain't gonna mend it.
