Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Have bad Tingle memories since that quest in Windwaker. That's not a bad score from Famitsu however we can't always trust the "gaming bible" Smilie

Does this mean it's coming out in the US too? (3 or 4 months earlier)

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Yep it should but it could turn out to like 42 All-Time Classics did.

Europe only seems to get favoured with Touch Gen stuff, not niche stuff like this.

    And about 10quid cheaper!
Any way good news, I've been hoping it would make it over here.

You never know, Europe might get it first. Europe's tastes are closer to Japanese tastes than American ones [are to Japanese tastes], so it's not unheard of for us to get titles first - rare, but not like it's never happened before. Looks like Kororinpa could follow this as well (has confirmed Europe release date, not the case for USA).

Whatever. It looks like a weird game that I'm not sure I'm very interested in either way (might buy it during a quiet period or for cheap or something, unless I'm convinced before then), but I'm glad it's getting a Western release as I'm sure some will love it.

EDIT: Changed a bit for clarity.

Not sure I can trust Famitsu completely. I thought I could, but they gave Nintendogs a perfect score, when after a while it was totally boring.

Not to mention they gave the new Sonic game on 360 30/40. No joke. Smilie

Nah, 'cos Anime/Manga bombs in the UK, while in US it's really big. Manga in corner shops I've heard. Well that's probably an exaggeration, but y'know.

EDIT2: About whether I'd get it or not. Unless it gets scores above 90/9 in reviews, I won't consider getting it for a while until I can find a cheap 2nd hand version. It's harsh, but it just looks so weird.

Manga and games are entirely separate things, I'm talking in terms of gaming. Japanese games fit in with the sortof arthouse-y tastes in Europe - not necessarily the UK. I see this as one of the reasons why Nintendo have remained reasonably popular in France, Germany, etc., while they bombed elsewhere.

Oh, well if you're talking about any part of Europe than UK, then yeah, I agree with you, since Anime & Manga does alright anywhere in Europe that isn't UK. & so do good games.

As soon as you get to UK:

    IZ A REELY KOOL GAEM.

Yeah, the UK's a weird one - stuck between two continents in terms of tastes. Sometimes it goes towards Europe with things like DS and Touch Generations, other times it goes towards stuff like...that. Difficult market.

I'd say the US gaming market has more sense than the British one....

Good thing Wii & DS are sorting that out a bit. But some people still refuse to see games like Zelda & Animal Crossing as good games. Smilie

    Are they Ar-tard-id?Smilie

No matter how much it's not your taste, you CAN't deny(unless you want to be 'Ganxta') that Zelda is a good game... I've gotten used to it. Most people around me only like soccer games, or just typical PS2 fair, although in my new class Ninty has the upper-handSmilie There's only one who doesn't love Nintendo, but he likes them, and he hates Sony, and is an X360 lover, hehe

    ~Getting on C3's massive tits since 2K5.~

in Germany you get (mainstream-)mangas in every bookshop or newspaper-shops. Even yoai (yaoi?) are available.
We love Japan. But too strange a game like Tingle... that's not a big success. But when it's good, we may pick it up. I think Electroplankton and Co sold okay here too.
I am pleased that Tingle is coming to Europe and I am curious how good it will be.

Europe has some different taste. Methinks UK tends to be more tasted against US as most other Europe does (was that even good english? oh my...).

But when you check German charts for games you see the rubbish Germans buy anyway. Such titles like Need For Speed are well sold, but American Football and Call Of Duty are no Megaseller. At least no one buys a hundred different 2nd world war shooters. Hey, we like fighting evil Nazis, but not THAT much... *eg*

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Apparently the new issue of NOM actually has a review of the game. Whether it's simply the UK game I played last month or the final version, I've no idea...but whatever the case, the sooner we get it the better! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

    Tingle can suck my nuts.

    He probably would too.
