Nintendo DS News | Square Enix Reveals Heroes of Mana Date

Quick News - The Brownie Brown-developed Heroes of Mana has been given a release date of 8th March, 2007 in Japan, priced at 5040 Yen. Following the story of the SNES Seiken Densetsu 3, HoM adopts a strategy RPG and is thought to include two-player support and Wi-Fi play.

Do you mean a week+ a year? CoM came out ages ago in Japan, did it not?

Children of Mana was released on 2nd March, 2006 alongside the launch of the White DS Lite in Japan. So with Heroes of Mana due for 8th March, 2007 (my birthday!), it's just over a year since the last Mana game.

This looks damn impressive and I loved Seiken Densetsu 3, so am pleased the story line will be linked to it!

What messes up the time aspect is just how phenomenally well the DS Lite is selling...It's already scooted past the original DS total in Japan in a ridiculously short space of time.

If HoM is coming in March, then you'd expect Front Mission 1st and/or Itadaki Street ft Mario & DQ to be before that...sometime in Feb maybe. Got to keep them clear of the atom bomb that is DQIX in mid-2007...

Apparently Idatki Street is near finished so i think a Feburary release would be about right Raz.

Yep, I'd heard it was close to being finished as well.

With DQM and Chocobo both out in December, Heroes of Mana due in March and DQIX set for mid-2007, there's Front Mission, It's a Wonderful World, FFXII: RW and FFCC: RoF to fit into 2007 and that's BEFORE any other surprise announcements!

Crazy (but fantastic!).
