Brawl FC 2921-85414771

I thought you were gonna say Super Mario World then...Smilie

VC = rubbish so far...

Trying to think of a witty signature after 'Hacker-gate'...

Well they did say there was gonna be 10 games every you can't expect 7 or 8 now can you?
Still those games are a bit of a boring addition.

There are an absolute shit load of games they could release. But they release this crap instead.

Now that' no big journalism to report, but I checked Virtual Console just now and found only Motoroader (TG) and Super Mario Bros (NES). I think, that Baseball and Ice Hockey - both NES - where added last Friday.

So these are the two new titles for Germany (being in Europe...) this Friday. Small but a huge lineup when only considering SMB here...

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

that depends what you consider crap.
Bomberman, R*Type, Sonic, Castlevania IV, SMB, Mario64, Donkey Kong Country, Space Harrier, Columns, Ristar, Bonk's Adventures, Donkey Kong, Ecco The Dolphin. F-Zero are quite an impressive lineup, and these are only the good ones I named. Sure, they are old and kind of wither away in graphics and gameplay. But They are certainly not crap. And better pay 5-10 EUR per game then buy them for DS or GBA for 30 EUR each. That's why I never bought NES Classics, Mario 64 DS or a Sonic-Game. I own them already on N64, Gameboy 1 or Megadrive (Genesis). Therefore I do not need to buy them again. But they are entertaining. I was glad getting R*Type on which R*Type for Gameboy 1 clearly is based. Altered Beast on the other hand is completely crap.

But I hope they deliver some unique new games like for Xbox 360. That's what I like about the Box: small, graphically good and enjoyable games. Some from VC may lack some of this qualities. But they clearly are from the upper class of the gamepool...

/edit: Since I talked about something completely different then before I think double posting was okay... Smilie

More significant than the titles that were released is the fact that neither of these games were previously announced for VC in Europe, to my knowledge - meaning more surprises to come, hopefully.

I'm waiting for Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart and Plok (doubt it..forgotten classic though)

Last week was alright, 2 new SNES games, Super Castlevania IV (From Konami woot!) & SimCity. That's different. Never thought we'd see more SNES games in UK. Smilie

Unexciting week. I had hoped, while at College, they would sneakily put MK64 on there. I can dream can't I? Smilie

There really needs to be more N64 games and Super Metroid.

Hey, Mason and Jesusraz: Wouldn't it be great to test these VC-games not in terms of the game itself but to check how much fun they bring still today? On the behalf of german magazine 'Gamepro' I downloaded Donkey Kong Country and discovered massive fun and the origin from my GBA all-time-favourite 'Sabrewulf', also from Rare, but with icky-wicky creatures to use on a tactic base to do the levels. It was a good choice. But I do not know Icehockey, Ristar and some other do not know Bonk's Adventures. They miss something or maybe buy crap like I did with Altered Beast, that I took for Shadow Of The Beast, and bought...

Hey, its okay. Nintendo have just confirmed that they got the rights to Goldeneye. So everything is good now.

have they? Wow. Then maybe I give it (attention, jokeSmilie a shot (big laugh, no?)!

unfortunately it's banned in Germany. Maybe they rerate it...

Agree. I NEED Super Metroid.

It might be the only good Metroid game I ever play again if Metroid keeps at the pace it has done for the past 2/3 years Smilie

Meh, Goldeneye is overrated.

Or maybe I just REALLY hate single stick controls.

GoldenEye is banned in germany? Jesus! Germany has cencored and banned loads of other games. Sucks to be a German gamer. I'd import if I were you, mate. It's still PAL, right? Everything PAL should work fine on your Wii.
