Quick News: During an investor conference call, THQ announced that WWE games will be released on Nintendo platforms, Wii and DS, within the next fiscal year, according to Gamespot. Other details are currently unknown, but the titles are likely to take full advantage of Nintendo's unique setup.

If they use the day of reckoning game engine I'll be happy as anything.
But if they could put more people in the ring at one time and the elimination chamber that would make this a must for me.

I hope they use a control scheme that uses the motion sensing, a bit like the fighting system proposed in The Godfather. Would make wrestling games much more fun. Could always chuck in a Classic Controller scheme as well to satisfy the old school players...
I find it odd that a DS WWE game hasn't come out yet. There was supposed to be one last March! Never appeared, never saw screens...they could do good things with the touch screen if they tried.
No point asking THQ for an online mode, though - Nintendo are the ones that need to actually let more third parties use the online infrastructure!

They're never going back to No Mercy, simply because they don't work with the same developers anymore. If it's up to Day of Reckoning standards at least I'll be happy.
I remember when No Mercy was literally my only tie to gaming left because I got so bored of everything else, yet still played that every single day. Now when I go back, it's just too slow.
