Nintendo Media | Various Sonic and the Secret Rings Trailers (Wii)

By Jorge Ba-oh 07.02.2007 10

In the last couple of days, Sega have released a selection of fresh footage from their exciting Wii exclusive, Sonic and the Secret Rings, as the blue wonder speeds his way through the tales of the Arabian Nights. May contain depressing musical taste.

I'll be really unhappy if this turns out bad, still one of my most anticipated Wii games.

I don't see how it can be bad.... it just looks so great. The music is a shame, but I'll get used to it.

I don't think it's that bad to be honest. Everyone seems to be a bit OTT about it. But I know what you mean. At least it's not rap...

Really can't wait, it's release is early March, not long to wait!

I'll be checking out some reviews later this month from the US release.

I really like this game... i havent played but you know what i mean.... it looks preety fucking good! And i dont think its gonan "turn out bad" just looks at it.. it looks freekin awsome!! Like SuperLink said the music fuckin sucks though!!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

I'll probably get this since it comes out a day before my birthday.

It does look like it could be a little shallow and playing the exact same courses over and over might get extremely repetitive. I suppose if Sega has added mission modes and time trials, it could lengthen the game(time).

The music which could be a blessing and a curse if it is anything like the previous 3D Sonics (excluding Shadow). Like, most of Sonic Adventure 2s music was forgettable but I thought Escape From The City was actually quite decent.

Sonic Adventure, Rush, and the original four had awesome music, although perhaps I remember the original music more as it was a key point of me retro times!

Definately, no doubt that the original games on the MD had the best Sonic music.

Even the crappy ones like Sonic 3D had great music.

I really like the music from Sonic Adventure 1 - Heroes. It's awesome Smilie

Also, the music from the 360 Sonic game is great, except for the rap. I heard before that the in level music for this game would be like Sonic Rush, & besides, we've only heard 2 or 3 songs from this game, & they all sound like theme songs. (Which tend to be crap recently anyway)

Yeah Sonic Heroes' theme was shite... I don't think the music sounds as bad as it did in the original videos though. Still seems like they got someone to attack a drum kit instead of actually writing in any drums though

The only problem I'm having is that... Well... Everytime we get a new video of this game it's exactly the same as the last one. I expect the game'll be just as boring to play too unfortunately...

The Sonic Heroes theme comes into the 'so terrible it's good' category for me.

How does that work? It just comes into the 'so terrible my ears SPEW BLOOD' category for me <.<
