Wow, looks amazing! so intense and perfectly made. NOT! what a joke to man kind. That looks absolutly terrible and I thought Mario Party was rubbish.

Grrr, I'd destar you for that MP comment! Smilie I agree on the Sonic part though, it does look like a joke.

Minigames are supposed to be fast paced, but even the recommended age group of 3+ would get bored of that pace! It did look a lot quicker in previous trailers, so who knows..

That looks appaulingly bad. Dear lord, when they said multipayer I imagined a kind of 'race to the finish' in the one player levels. Not this rubbish....

Yay! It looks awesome!! YAY!!

I can't wait!! Smilie

BTW, I don't think anyone realises this. But that's all their Japanese voices...

Doesn't look very enticing at all, I'd rather have a multiplayer vs mode with Tails, Knuckles etc.

SuperLink, I hope it is their Japanese voices because Sonic's "Yeah" is so irritating.

Looks crappy but then again i've never ever bought a sonic game for multiplayer.

Oh lord...

It's obvious it's their Japanese voices... You clearly didn't watch all the videos.

On the last video when Knuckles wins against Tails, does it sound liek English to you? Does it? Does it?

I don't get why people think it looks so crap... Smilie

Despite what all of you are saying, the Preview on 1up actually states it as prety good..

again i make the recommendtaion, don't just watch videos, actually read previews of these games, they give you far more detail on how they play and help a lot, and I mean that for every game.

How come Mario can have mini games & Sonic can't?

A 2P race wouldn't work so well on this anyway, since the speed it a bit steady & it's sort of a set path...

It looks visually nice, sweet, and smooth. Gameplay wise what we've seen here, in these specific videos, it looks very slow paced... I mean that Bumper Balls (Mario Party) Rip-off is a joke.

Yeah that game looked stupid, way too slow. Who knows, maybe the final version will be a bit more crazy depending on how ou tilt the controller. Might be one of those videos that shows us the most basic possible way to be played.

It's hardly about the multiplayer anyway, & most of those games look better than the mini games on Monkey Ball...

No use, it's only a personal opinion of who played the game to review it or preview it. I bought into Red Steel as ONM gave it a ridiculous 90%. I believe previews and reviews only help secure an opinion on a game. I also can't wait to see your change of opinion when you get the game Superlink because it doesn't take a genius to work out that those controls are totally f*cked up.

ONM is an official magazine though.

ONM were wrong about Red Steel. They're fan boys who are constantly making stupid mistakes like typos & just generally getting their information completely fucked up. NOM were way better, N-Gamer are more of an Official Magazine than ONM will *ever* be.

& yes, reviews do matter. Can't trust one magazine's opinion? Look no further than:

HERE

That website has never been wrong as far as I've known.

The whole point of a review is to as objectively as they can, point out different aspects in the game, then good and bad points of the game, informing the reader about it, then basing it on those points usually a score that they feel worthy of the game - yes, some of it comes down to opinion, but that shouldn't be what professional reviews/previews come down too, they should review/preview a game as objectively as they can in a way which can benefit the reader, informing them on the different aspects on the game that are fact (although some things just can't help but be subjective to each person), possibly providing opinions about those facts, although it should be made clear they are opinions, and as what many review do provide a score as they see fit based on the good and bad points of the game - you read one review, that's your own fault, always read multiple reviews when you can, and one review about a game you didn't like doesn't mean you should discount every preview/review out there - as I've said, they help a lot, and generally give you a better feel of how the game works often much better than a video as they've actually played it, on how well controls work and such, especially helpful for Wii games because so much emphasis is on control, an idea you can;t get form basic videos/trailers.

And why do you say it's obviously the controls are fucked up - you haven't played it have you? You've obviously ignored every preview of the game, even though they have much more informed views than you do on this game.

Some of them don't look too bad. Sonic Shuffle was pretty good, so hopefully it'll be as god as that overall. The last one was absolutely shocking though...

Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

janet - you bum the previews of this game.

Megadanx - is that really you in your sig?

artmonkey - reserves judgement.

Less posty, more gamey.

Exactly. It really gets on my nerves when people say reviews & previews are all OPINION, & because they gave it a terrible rating you'll still enjoy it because the trailers look good. LOL OMG GOODGRAFX

Smilie Not bothered, like I said. When you get the game your opinion will change.

If you say you do like it when you get it, then your eithier a Sonic fanboy (from judging by your post, you are) or you don't care how a game is played and you'll play any old crap. Not bieng harsh, but it is the truth. It's as plain as day and just admit it. Of course it plays rubbish.

Why are you saying that? How the fuck would you know? How is it the truth - you haven't played it, you haven't read anything on it by the sounds of it, and you're going by something you've obviously set in your own mind a long time ago when only hearing the bare minimum. How does he liking the game if he gets and plays it make him a Sonic fanboy automatically?

You're just making yourself sound arrogant, and turning this into another Sonic thread where I get annoyed or go on a rant for no reason.

WHY MUST IT BE EVERY SONIC THREAD

How do you know I haven't played it? for all you know I could be writing up a preview of the game right now on Nintendo 63.

Because so far you haven't mentioned anything, like when I said it earlier asking if you'd played it.

And if you have played it, again you can't say it's the truth because of you're opinion alone - you can state your opinion but don't make it out to be truth and laugh in the face of others. So far I'm going on every other preview and such I've read (yes, I bum them big time, often leading to a shortage of lube) and so far I'm staying positive on this one.

Good for you, I hope you enjoy it. No we haven't got a copy to preview of the game, but I can just tell by the videos that it doesn't work, but if you insist fair enough.

I won't be buying it because I know it won't be that good just like most of the other Wii games so far. I take my time read, talk and watch every nook and cranny of a game to make sure I know what i'm getting, with this I see a tacky control system shoved onto a 3D Sonic game that just won't work.

Yep argue it out, but I won't be here to listen so I wouldn't bother. Argue to yourself's if you want.

OK then.

I've now convinced myself this game is shit.
