News | Square Enix Working on Brain Training Game?

By Adam Riley 14.02.2007 13

Quick News - Following Nintendo's success with Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training on the DS, Sega has already released Mind Quiz and EA is working on Dragon Zakura to ride the success wave. But now a Japanese trademark from Square Enix leads us to believe the RPG heavyweight also has one in the offing.

But could it be on a Nintendo system? Stay tuned...

I'm betting DS, so they can keep up their 'must announce at least one DS title a month' quota. Smilie

I'll second that. Smilie

Woooooooo!!!

Would be very pleasing, if true, as they might stick some familiar characters from the S-E world into it as well.

Hmm, could be pretty good. What I would absolutely love to see is something a little different - perhaps an S-E themed quiz game that ties in general knowledge of all things Square and all things Enix with the BT formula.

Bet you didn't know that apparently Nintendo is working on Brain Training 3...? There was talk of it on some Japanese blog a few months back, but nobody reported it.

As long as it's widening the market then I'm all for it Smilie

Awww man bit of a disappointing new title but guess they need to cash in were the moneys being made.
Don't think I'll be too disappointed if it doesn't make i over here though.

I guessed as much for the existance of Brain Training 3 after the success of the first two. I hope they give it a rest for a while after that, though.

Nintendo shouldn't release Brain Training 3 any time soon, it wouldn't be a smart move.

Why?
Brain Training 2 is selling over 30k.
Brain Training is still cugging out 20k a week.
Common Sense Training 20k a week.
English Training 10k a week.
Big Brain Academy 1k a week.

Nintendo should start focus on getting out Big Brain Academy and Brain Training on the Wii

But soon enough "Training" will be a new game genre, and we can't have that now can we?

SE are crap, I don't like them (that seemed a bit childish).

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562
