I wouldn't hold my breath but it would be quite awesome to see DoA on Wii. Really...

I never was a fan of DoA, I found it too slow. No doubt there are many fans out there and DoA is quite a strong fightning franchise. I'm quite interested in his inspiration from Wii boxing and how he'll incoperate that into a possible DoA Wii or a new fighting franchise.

It'd be awesome to see one of the 360's trump card games on Wii. I guess we shouldn't hold our breath, they might do a Namco and say:

"Hmm, the Wii is very interesting..... let's put another Tales game on PS2!! WHEEE!!!!"

Dead Or Alive is hyped up to more than it really is. I'd rather have a true fighting game like Virtua Fighter, or Soul Calibur.

But we're getting Mortal Kombat which is my favorite series anyway Smilie

I'd hate it if Soul Calibur IV was a PS3 exclusive. It'd show that Namco really DO bum Sony. Smilie

It won't be. The PS3 is already being recognised as falling flat on it's face. It'd probably be 360/PS3, in the way of most companies.

^^ well i think the DoA vollyball will be good on the wii XD just think all them girl playing on it jumping up and down

haha @ Jump_Button

thats just wonderful. Then we can have boob-fighter on the Wii too.

Boob-Fighter!!.... They should just be straight with the people and tell them what they're getting.

I wouldn't think so. DOA is too complicated for the Wii mote, if it did come out it would be a shit dumbed down version fo sho.

I know what you mean. Arcade style fighters might not work so well with the Wiimote's button layout. Smilie

EDIT: I guess it'd be possible to use the Wiimote + Nunchuck set up, though that would force the player to use a control stick rather than the D-Pad.

C, Z, A, B & the 4 directions on the D-Pad could all possibly used for action buttons. Or if that doesn't work, te game could always work with the Classic pad or the GC controller.

DOA Volleyball would be awesome on the Wii. Imagine the non-volleyball related mini games they could make using the Wiimote. And with a little less power behind the game they might not make the breasts look as stupidly water-like

I wondered how long it would take to mention DoA volleyball Smilie

It would work with the GameCube controller... but that would mean people with no GameCube would have to buy a controller...

If you think about it though, most Wii gamers will need to have at least 1 Classic or GC controller, seeing as 1/4 to 1/3 of Wii games support use, & then there's the Virtual Console.

They're pretty cheap anywhoos.

I doubt DOA will ever come out on the Wii... but hopefully hes gonna create a new game for Wii... DOA Boxing Booby Babes

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Not holding my breath, but would be a killer title on Wii.

I only got a D in "stating-the-obvious" GCSE Smilie

It'd be nice to have, but it'd probably have to use the Classic Controller, as I don't think it'd work as well as something like Mortal Kombat would using motion sensing (since MK is mad and OTT).

I'm just trying to get my head around how a combo-heavy fighting game such as Street Fighter would even work on Wii. If fighting game uses controls similar to Wii Sports Boxing, it needs to have many different zones to attack and be easy to pick up whilst challenging to master. In other words: no puching continously for easy wins.

Well, there are games like Naruto Shippuuden, Bleach, & DBZ Budokai Tenka'ichi 2 on Wii, so the Wii can obviously do it, but it might be a bit confuzzling Smilie

Wish I'd taken that, I would have done great at it.

Although two of the titles you mentioned were on PS2/GC, nice to see that Bleach is new though.

Dead or Alive games were shit on the Xbox and were equally shit on the 360, who cares.

Everytime I've heard someone say they can't figure out how fighting games will work on the Wii since the controller was show off a little part of me has died inside. What's wrong with pressing buttons? There're enough there
