I love how the guy kills pthe enemies by just ransomly wiggling both controllers around. Awesome.

It looks SO boring...

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

It's yet another rehash of an old game with Wii controls bolted on. No reservation of judgement required here - it will be awful.

Screwing the rules since 1989.

If I hadn't played this however long ago on the Xbox I would be mildly interested.

I think the controls look like they could be quite fun, not wildly innovative, just fun.

But that's nowhere near enough to warrant buying a game I've already completed.

Considering the dude playing it spent half the time trying to figure out what the hell to do not really the games fault....

The controls look pretty good, and seem to look like they add something to the game, which may warrant a purchase (never played the game first time round, will probs wait for a price drop though......)

all he's doing is randomly moving them back and forth, it's not really innovative.
wtf ubisoft, what is your problem?
Can't you do something good on the Wii for once?
I mean I know Rayman was fun, and Red Steel wasn't THAT bad, but you could do so much better, and now, you bring PoP featuring wiggling controls and not really knowing what you're doing in combat.
I had hopes for this game to, it looks terribly non-immersive.
I hope it flops in retail just so they can learn their lesson, all though they won't, cause they haven't with their other games.

This is the whole problem with the wii at the moment- people aren't using the motion controls with any meaning- theres no real correspondance between the motions you make and the action on screen, or a vague one at best, which means you could easily replace the motions with buttons with no cost to the experience. Anyhoo, hopefully some developers will get it together soon..

I would debate this somewhat, I've mentioned before I found Twilight Princess to be more fun just with a bit of waggling chucked in.

Even if the game wasn't responding to exactly what I did I was still acting out left, right, upper cut (which does get recognized partially) and that was enjoyable.

Exact movements wouldn't work in Zelda anyway so it was a nice balance, it felt somewhere near doing the real actions like a sim, but not so much that it complicated Zelda's gameplay.

It was nice, though I would like something more for the next Zelda, I don't think theres anything wrong with gesture controls just so long as they don't become the only thing on offer in the long run because of laziness.

A lot of people will disagree with this, but I'm not one of them. I much preferred the Wii controls for TP to anything a button-based pad could have offered. But the fact is that it could (and indeed) should have been much better. However, games like the new Dragoball Z are showing that you don't need direct motion recognition to make a game worth playing.

That aside, I still hope that developers will get their act together sooner rather than later. Yes, Ubi, I'm looking at (read 'thinking of') you...

Indeed, hence the graphics.

looks okayish.....

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

I was thinking about the Godfather game.

They're all just blurring into one.

Hehe I'm sure by 2009 when the PSP is t3h dedz0r and Wii reigns supreme, we might start getting some admirable original content from studios outside Nintendo Smilie

In the meantime, let's all buy the Wii anyway for

Lets not let Ubisofts effort overshadow that EA actually is putting effort into their projects.

Which I didn't think I'd ever say because EA has been a pretty crappy company the last years but their Wii division seems to actually doing something inventive for their games.

The becoming shit of Ubisoft and the releasing of some quality games by EA is by far the most surprising thing EVER in my eyes. I'm so shocked I could go and eat a Kit-Kat. I think I will actually

From the looks of things, the Wii will be just like the DS, except with more titles from the looks of things. & more crap too.

Basically, by the end of the year we should see a lot more genius stuff on the Wii, until then, for non Nintendo fans the Wii isn't really a must have. Shit like this proves it.

It's a really shame actually, companies like Ubisoft are killing the awesome potential of Wii Smilie
