Nintendo Wii Media | New Mario Strikers Charged Gameplay

By Slydevil 14.03.2007 11

Some new footage of Mario Strikers Charged has arisen thanks to GameTrailers. First announced at the Leipzig conference last year, the title sees Mario and pals trying their hands at yet another commercial sporting activity, football, or soccer, whichever side of the pond you hail from. Enjoy!

This game is going to tear down the other soccer games, I want to be the first to play it Smilie

Wifi really adds to this game. It is pretty much the same as the first game, with a few upgrades, but still looks like a decent game. Im gonna get it Smilie

People can say all they like about Mario spin off games, but I'll be damned if they don't look like fun. Although it doesn't look like a whole lot of depth to the game so it's probably better to wait until this game gets a bit cheaper.

5 Mega Strike Balls? Where five separate ball come flying at the keeper? That's not football.

Looks fun, all the same. Smilie

It does look fun, with the extremely large exception of the Mega Strike. If it were up to me, goals scored in the normal fashion would score more. You know, to reward skill as opposed to dumb luck.

Screwing the rules since 1989.

I saw this video earlier, and the game looks brilliant, looks fun to play!!
Ive got the first one and its awsome!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

They really should have kept it to two goals for those super things... 5 is ridiculous

I think it depends on how you stop the bar, I did see some numbers appear above/below the bar when the player stopped it at the right time. Basically, if you get it in the middle of each target, you could get 6 balls, while if you get it around the edges, you could get less.

That, & GOOD players should be able to stop the balls from getting into the goal. We all know that whenever a gameplay video is posted on the net, the person playing the game sucks at games. It's common knowledge.

The super ones split the ball up into multiple targets. Then the second player has to use the Wiimote as the goalies hands to try and stop as many of the balls as they can.
