Nintendo News | One Piece Wii Heading to the West?

Quick News: According to a listing on retail website GameFly, Namco's One Piece: Unlimited Adventure will be sailing to the west later this year. Whilst there hasn't been any official confirmation, Luffy and pals are likely to turn up eventually given the anime's growing presence in the US and Europe. Thanks to Siliconera for the tip.

One Piece the anime is awsome! And from some videos ive seen of this it looks pretty good! So lets hope they bring this to EU!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Seeing that over in Australia they started showing the series in the mornings, there is definitely interest in the anime. I personally think it would be great if it was coming to the West, it looks like a good game.

A lot of retail sites still have One Piece : Unlimited Adventure in their databases, because footage for the game was shown at the last E3. However, given its sharp descent into obscurity in the west, releasing more titles based on the series here is unlikely. I for one will be importing it the moment there is a freeloader for Wii.
