Nintendo Speculation | Metroid Prime 3 Rated Teen - Boxart

Quick News - We've just stumbled onto an intriguing listing over at Newegg, which appears to show the boxart for upcoming blockbuster, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Mock-up or genuine? It also looks to reveal the ESRB rating, could it indicate the game is closer to release than we think? Or just an estimate? It's some pretty swish boxart nonetheless. View for yourself:

    Eh? You mean the teen rating was inevitable?

    Well, firstly this is new boxart (news alone)...and secondly, games usually have to be in the final stages to recieve a rating, which I even stated could just be an estimate. So there. Smilie

    The reason for that is because that isn't even the box art for it. It's just some box art, someone has created to use as a shop display case on sites and catalogues.

    Please inform me of the "knowledge". Give the arrogance thing a rest Marz, you're not good at it. The only evidence of a fake is the ESRB rating and it being shown so early. Which doesn't qualify you to be so sure of yourself.

    I too am tempted to be sceptical about whether the box art is genuine, but not to such a level that I can come up with a firm conclusion. Therefore I'm reserving judgement for now...

    I'm not arrogant, I just know. It's not my fault I can tell it's a fake. As for the knowledge thing, the reason being that the way it's just set out. You can just tell this wasn't done by a professional. I'm willing g to bet money, that this is not the final box art for the game, that's how sure I am.

    Anyway i would say in 99% sure this will come out for Christmas even if they finish it early... last 2 games came out for Chritsmas aswell... so i reckon this will come out the same time!
    Anyway the boxart looks good, not as good as i was hoping for but atleast its not final!

    It's probably just an estimate. Not too hard to guess it'd be a T/12+

    The quality isn't too good either, probably a mock up.

    It's possible but the image of Samus is ripped from from some Metroid Prime 2 art. As is Dark Samus.

    I'd wager a mockup aswell. ^

    Ah well, nice find, it still looks good.

    I think the most impressive aspect is that Cubed3 managed to secure advertising on the fron cover. That must have cost a pretty penny, well done.

    Its not that great, but it beats the other box art from the other prime games by miles! Plus i just want to cease a copy of it, im looking forward to it after MPH was such a disapointmentSmilie
