Smilie< Well done Nintendo, this does not surprise me in the slightest.

I imagine Nintendo have made obscene amounts of money from it.
Well done Nintendo for taking my money also. (27 quality games lol)

I must say in hindsight that Nintendo have suprisingly i think released some very big games so early, i think that this must be due to future plans to increase the platform list and to make original content of their making available later, "new classics", cannot wait!. SmilieLS

I've already bought 13 games and now I want Final Fight. It's too easy.

Damn them!

^^ it win win we get the old game and they sell them to us and dont have to really make anything thing like boxs XD

Suckers.

It doesn't appear to be very difficult to seperate you from your money.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Thinking back, the only possible reason I can come up with for Nintendo charging such stupid prices is because they didn't think enough people would buy them... Now that that's obviously not the case you'd think they'd decrease the prices, but I guess that's not gonna happen. Maybe it's been TOO successful, so they don't see a need to lower the prices? ;-;

Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

Just think, if those are

Gods in His Heaven. Alls right in the World.

3.3 million? Doesn't sound like such a great amount to be. I'm shocked that it's not at least 1 game per Wii!

Sure, it's good for Nintendo, but I won't be supporting them much & get a move on.

They need to either make a price drop, or availability in Stars Catalogue.

I know people say that

People need to stop buying so many god damn VC games so Nintendo drops the price...

Well done to Nintendo for conning it's userbase out of millions. Well done indeed Smilie

I bought some Mario games via VC and you know what? I hated Mario, but his platformers are soooo great! Super Mario World is one of the best games out there. For some games VC is great. And Turbografx now gets the attention it deserves. Great console.

It's easy and convenient. I own Sonic 1, 2, Super Mario 64, Zelda MM and OoT, but I think some time in the not so distant future I will buy them again on VC.

Now I can play past Castlevanias and check out past great games I never would have bought.

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Nintendo have made $23 Million from the Virtual console if you take the average price in Dollars!, for ROMs.

If they invest such funds in their Wii software that would be great for those 45 or so Wii titles they are working on.

I have a original PC engine with 3 games including the great Jackie Chan. I agree it's great that it is now amongst the masses.

Get Castlevania IV lauralin, you will not regret it- a fantastic game with that gives you aural feast and lovely mode 7 effects, i used to love it back in the day and it still holds up so well. LS

well if people say the profit of $23 million is bad, WHY?! ROCKSTAR is making profit for sub-average games which is almost identical to its predicessor, so why can nintendo contribute its old games, atleast nintendo arent trying to claim its anything new.

Anyway the $23million can be put towards more good games and now nintendo is getting more exclusives it may help them attract more customers.

I'm glad Nintendo are making money, anything that helps them from leaving the games industry is a good thing.

However, as has been said of all the "money can go to..." - Maybe, just maybe they could hire one programmer and one designer, pay them

Yeah there making so much money off it you think the online area would benefit from it or at least using it to make more original channels.

Smilie wow thats alot of VC games... i didnt expect that many people would buy them... anyway well done Nintey!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

It's sad how many sites are seeing this as the VC slowing down...Sega and Hudson appear to be loving the VC, promoting their releases via their own websites and SNK was very eager to jump on-board.

With the Votes, Photo and Mii channels all being promoted recently, it would not be surprising if Nintendo begins an ad campaign for the VC in the future as well.

They should do, it makes sense.

Your right about Hudson Soft and SEGA, I reckon the sucess of the VC for them has pushed the possibility of releasing Wii versions to their classics like Bonk which i adore, and Nights which is not my cuppa tea. This is great for all and may well happen with other developers looking at what games of theirs are very popular. LS
