Following the exclusive revelation that ROTR on DS would go online using Wi-Fi, Nibris has given Cubed3 the first chance to listen to tracks from the game!
Similar to how you were asked to share your opinions on music from Double Bloob, now it is time to raise your voices about ROTR: Raid Over the River's music. These tunes are not confirmed as being used in the final game yet and Nibris wants to hear which tracks are the best. So, simply download and listen to the four *.mp3 files below and rank them highest-most preferred to lowest-least preferred:
Track One - Future
Track Two - Smoke
Track Three - Trailer 01
Track Four - Trailer 02

I always like to be involved in working with game studios. I think it is great for C3 too to get some infos exclusively. It strenghtens their status amongst the other sites.
And nibris may make the games as we like them to be.

Thanks - I'm happy to help Nibris out because so far what I've played of ROTR and Double Bloob is impressive. Anyway, to start the ball rolling, here's my preferences:
1.) Future (very dark in theme and full of great electronica/synth effects - extremely appealing!)
2.) Trailer 02 (much more developed than Trailer 01, I reckon)
3.) Smoke (grows on you the more you hear it - seems multi-layered in that respect as it has subtle nuances I only really noticed on repeated listens...perhaps my ears are going, though - hehe!)
4.) Trailer 01 (basically seems like a 'lighter' version of Trailer 02).

Trailer 02 is much better than trailer 01...but I'd be sad if I didn't see all four tracks get in this game. Whoever does the music for your games, keep them, because they are all addictively astounding!

Woohoo!! Tis why I love C3!! So here's my own two cents...
Favorite to least favorite:
1)Track Four - Trailer 02: Man oh man! I love this! The build-up is great and the "action" starts at just the right moment. My favorite track.
2)Track Three - Trailer 01: Again awesome epic style music. Awesome.
3)Track Two - Smoke: Me like!! This sounds epic. It is awesome!
4)Track One - Future: Do not like this one...sounds really generic.
