Nintendo Rumours | Layton to US, Bonk on Wii/DS, Kingdom Hearts?

Quick News - The latest issue of US magazine EGM has the following rumours: Level 5's Professor Layton and the Mysterious Village is coming to the US; Hudson is working on a new Bonk for Wii and DS; the next Kingdom Hearts will be a spin-off appearing on a 'hearty console'.

Definitely - the Japanese voice track is very impressive in Prof. Layton, so it'd be a nice addition. Sadly, due to limited DS media space it's highly unlikely to be retained.

As for KH, well, many are pointing at Wii...but DS seems a fair bet since the KH team already has experience with the system after working on It's a Wonderful World.

If they did a DS KH I hope they try and get the PS2 style instead of the GBA style.

Yes. DS seems logical. I do hope they jump onto Wii soon, as I would almost kill for Wii games from S-E - meaning RPGs most likely.

And Bonk is such a great mascot, that Hudson may be pull off something big, as their Bomberman franchise is stretching really thin. I would be pleased to see this company getting up the ladder a bit.

My wishes have come true! Smilie .

I will be getting EVERY Bonk game available on the VC, i already own the two available and will be including the Zonk's soon.

As for DS and Wii version, i am very happy about this, very happy indeed. Smilie

These games will look a play wonderfully well on both, of that i am sure.
The titles are perfectly matched to Wii and DS and will sell bucket loads as they will appeal greatly to both markets.
Little Yoshima has a new rival on both platforms.
