Funny you would say that. I agree. While I do think the mechs are decent, Gundam games are not known for being pritty. Infact the show itself is mostly deserts, forests and empty buildings or space. Not much to look at.

Companies need to get it together for the wii in the graphics department... I know that graphics aren't the systems strong point, but come on. Textures are repeated far too much and the polygon count seems too low. Really, this looks a little better than an N64 game...

Oh my gosh. Even PS3 graphics looks worse then Wii. That's not the graphical evolution of Wii I had in mind!
/edit: Is this game Wii-exclusive? If so, then some screens on the scans are looking okay. I do hope they repeat the texture only because it's an early alpha version. Some mechs are looking good. Controls seems to be decent Wii (Lightswords for example). I hope the have some strategic elements to it with the different pilots and their Gundams.

Is this Multiplayer over Wifi? If so, this could actually be fun. Single player...well, it's just not what I'm into (single player FPS doesn't do much for me unless there's quite a bit more to do than kill everything in sight, move on, repeat).
I do agree that some of the terrain looks pretty bad, especially in stills (low poly counts + 1 texture = blech). I hope that's because they've been focusing on the characters more than the terrain so far, and that will look better as they get more final assets.

Oh for fuck's sake, why the HELL did they make it first person? I knew this kind of shit was gonna happen as soon as Nintendo announced the controller... I hope to God no other games go first person to accomodate Wii controls...Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

The ps3 one hasent got the best reception, so maybe they have changed the gameplay, the graphics dont look too good even for the wii.
