UK Chart Highlights XCXVII
...Nintendo Gets its Final Fantasy (DS), Wii Play Strong

Your weekly UK Chart Round-Up brought to you by stat-man jesusraz. Remember, the images here do not reflect actual sales!

Wii selling like cakes that are indeed hot!

With the Wii in strong supply around the country, last week saw the platform shoot up, along with many of its games. Naturally the extra stock began to be advertised all over the place, resulting in a major boost in demand, beginning to peak once again and thus the hardware numbers will have dwindled as eager punters picked up what they could last week. But has this led to a slide in performance at all or was the momentum great enough to give it another strong week?

Oh Spider-man, what sticky hands you have...

Before we scoot over to the main chart, on the All Prices Top 40, Wii Play slips just one to No.3 as people desperately clamber to grab that extra controller for use in Wii Sports. The fact that the controller alone is practically impossible to find has nothing to do with things...clearly people want to buy the shoddy mini-games for an extra

OMG why would anyone want to get Spiderman 3 the game.... it looks fucking SHIT!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

I am all for Nintendomination but Cooking Mama at No.6, jeez that's just not good.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Another sweet week! It's just awesome that Nintendo is doing so well again...just like in the good old days.

All these games are pretty mediocre imagine when the big hitters... hit the shelves!! Smilie
