that an alright date
kind of late though

Hmm, shame it's not the rumoured 1st June...

The website of the store where I buy my games had this releasedate there for well over a month.. ^^ And this exact date as well, not just a 'july' dateSmilie

I'd say that's a lucky guess! O_O

Lucky guess my armpitSmilie

It's happened on several occassions they've known a release date well before it was officially confirmed... And they're not lucky guesses, because they give exact dates, and not just a month, or which quarter of the year^^

Well, I've still got 3 final fantasy games plus tomb raider anniversary and dragon quest 8 and eternal darkness to complete so I've got plenty to do to keep me occupied till then. Smilie

It's a shame I'm not remotely excited about this new Pokemon game anymore... I'm sure they'll have replaced all my favourites with ones which are basically identical but lack any kinda of charm the originals had, and it'll be impossible to actually get all of them unless you buy both/have a bunch of friends who get it/have absolutely no life.

AND there'll be the obligatory Pok

They don't replace Pok

There's a total of 493 Pokemon now, but there's 151 listed on the Sinnoh Pokedex. I don't know how many of them you can actually catch within the game, but I'm guessing it's around 150. I've had this game for a while now, it's really cool ^_^

There's 151 in the Shinnoh dex, all 493 in the national dex, and you can catch almost 450 of them in one gameSmilie

I already said, all of them except 48 are obtainable within both games, of course you need both versions, but with Pearl & Diamond there are [b]445 Pok

Is Sinnoh the only area, or do you go to Kanto/Johto as well?

Sinnoh is the only area, but there are many references to Kanto, Johto & Hoenn throughout the game. Nothing on Orre though.

After you finish the game however, quite a few more routes are added, including a big island. Smilie

Bleh!! Import people, stick it to the man. I'm just not going to buy Pokemon...I'm sick of their constant rubbish dual releases. Total bullshit.
