Square-Enix have set the RPG world alight with a gorgeous new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles adventure on the Wii, Crystal Bearers, as a mystery lad takes to the skies in style.

Yeah seen it about an hour ago, looks hawt! From what i can see the gameplay reminds me a little on kingdom hearts.

I was just wathcing this awesome gameplay footage and a massive improvement on the Gamecube Version by the looks of things. Glad to see square getting a bit more juice out of the wii as well as the graphics look supersleek and with what looks like a FFXII overworld sweet or what.

Really like the look of this, quite enjoyed FF:CC on the GC too - can't wait to see more on this, if there's multiplayer etc.

Smilie i saw some where that it one player only a story about a hero (that guy) square have all way be good at making good looking and playing games

look alot like KH game play i want to see the wii-mote but XD

Looks SHWEET. Nice visuals, & the main character reminds me of Cid Highwind, except younger. It looks like it'll have far more story than FFCC GC, the only bad thing is that I havn't seen any sign of multiplayer yet, or that create a character seems to be out the Window. Creating a character was one of the best things about FFCC.

Still, looks lovely, can't wait to find out more, hope I won't be disappointed!

Damn I was going to make a post on this ages ago, but my computer randomly stops working. I think it looks pretty good and certainly more like the latest FFs crossing Futuristic elements with old weaponry.

I love the version of the main final fantasy theme playing at the beginning. Smilie

After the gamecube game, I had virtually no interest in this but now, OMG it looks amazing!

This looks fantastic! The graphics are gorgeous - they aren't heavily stylised or ultra-realistic, but they really suit the gameplay. Add some real time battles and that gorgeous remix of the FF theme at the beginning and reservation of judgement is unnecessary.

I hope Square start to give the Wii the kind of incredible support they've given the DS, though it could just end up like the GC & GBA again, with quite a few games on GBA but only 1 or 2 on GC.

So I'm hoping this won't be Square's only Final Fantasy on Wii.

Oh God... I used to want this... Looks like they got rid of loads of the things I liked about the original CC (And maybe some of the things I disliked too, which is good I suppose) and then filled in the gaps with all the things I hate about the usual boring FF games...

And then put another thin layer of that boring stuff on top just to make sure...

This is hack and slash right? Not turn based? Its not that I don't like turn based games (I liked Paper Mario and the Bioware Games), it is just I don't like the way it has been done in so many of the FF games.

The fact that there were no random battles and it felt far more free than FF games. It's obviously not turn-based still, but it didn't look to me like the tiny bit of a fight we saw (Why didn't they show more, it's the only important bit?) was in the same vein as the first game. I don't like the look of the camera either, it seems pretty awful... I can just feel that there's some kind of dodgy SquareEnix storyline in there too... The lack of one was another good thing about the original...

You know what is funny? I feel that this game and Lost Odyssey on the 360 feel more like Final Fantasy than FF XIII.

The PS3 games look and feel like fucking bad MTV J-Rock Music Videos. Smilie

Yeah, same here, looks like lots of things I liked about FF:CC are gone now, like Character creation, & not following a particular story line.

As long as this has good multiplayer though, I'm more than sold, me & a group of friends have been waiting for the DS & Wii ones simply because we had so much fun on FF:CC together.
