Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS) joins Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Wii) in 6 and 7th position up from 7 and 9 respectively. Recent updates to the official website for Super Smash Bros. Brawl has pumped the upcoming Nintendo all-star package up 2 positions to 11, Animal Crossing at 13. It's a Wonderful World jumps a staggering 4 places in at 17, most likely due its recent unveling, and finally Super Mario Galaxy sits firmly at 15.

WOW Mario Galaxy is pretty low, good to see DQ Swords has moved up.

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

The four out of five for the PS3 is worrying. I suppose it shows you can not call the PS3 a flop until you see how it performs when these titles are released.

Mario Galaxy is also surprisingly low. Also interesting to see Halo 3 even made the list. Smilie

This is why the big 3 (japanese software companies) are gay. Square knows what will sell a console, did the spin of to FF12 on DS come close to the PS2 title, NO. The instal base was there for a few million units to be sold. Western companies are scrambling to work on the Wii but I don't feel like they are. They will put titles on it but nothing big or costly to make. Thats why chronicles will make it in time for this year but RE5 wont.

I am shocked by Galaxies though. The Japanese arent so forgiving of a weak entry in a series and sunshine was painfully poor. Piss poor to be honest. But smash was the only one to sell a million so expect SSBB to fly high. The gay official website isnt helping. By the time any new interesting info is released on it the game will be out.

ULTIMATE WII GAMER!!!

Holy crap!! I can't believe Halo 3 is in there! My my Japan sure is changing...

Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid over Devil May Cry and Smash Bros?

Japanese people are weird...

No its only famitsu readers who actually reply to these surveys that are wierd.

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

Yeah i'd say it's pretty much the hardcore crowd that has taken the survey because you just know that animal crossing Wii is just gonna wipe the floor with everything apart from maby Dragon Quest 9 on that list.

Famitsu gets respect for being the most popular and recognised Japanese gaming publication...HOWEVER, it's core readership does not totally influence the sales of games (not the sector that vote in this poll anyway, from past trends).

Oh, and its review scores basically come from company bribes! Smilie

Anyway, fantastic to see Super Paper Mario out-do the previous PM games and FFXII creeping towards 500,000!

Yeah, there can't be any other reason for Final Fantasy games getting perfect scores...
