Nintendo News | Plundr Tracking Real World Location on DS

By Jorge Ba-oh 06.06.2007 1

The DS's mobility and Wi-Fi connectivity allowing players to go head to head over the internet has opened up a true sense of portability. New developer area/code has revealed a fresh title that uses Wi-Fi positioning to use your real world location as part of the game.

"Plundr" places little islands on an interactive street map for players to travel to and buy/sell a variety of goods, raid ships and battle other players with some pirating debauchery. According to Eurogamer the game was shown recently at Where 2.0 in San Jose.

The game is already available on PC, designed for laptop users on the move.
