Moderated by Dan "Shoe" Hsu from EGM/1up and featuring Michael "Zonk" Zenke from Slashdot, Chris Grant from Joystiq, Brandon Sheffield from Gamasutra, Niels Keurentjes from Xboxic, Paul "Lefein" Shields from PS3forums and also our very own Jorge Ba-Oh. I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!! Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

I think this would've been at least 115% better in podcast form, but the line-up was pleasantly egit-less.

There was a lot of talk about how important 360 features were to any system's success, but most everyone eventually said the Wii would win in sales thought some said the 360 would sell more software. Odd, really.

I think that everyone conveniently forgot that the Wii will likely own Japan in all facets, hardware and software. Japanese developers will have to put their "hardcore" games on Wii if they expect to sell in their home country. Epic, Microsoft, et al. won't care that their US-style FPS, sports, etc. games won't have a chance in the Japanese market, but Capcom, Sega, Namco and *especially* Square will have to put their big games on the Wii. It will be similar to the role of the PS2 in the last gen.

Once the tipping point has been reached (probably this holiday season in Japan), there will be a lot of games refocused on the Wii simply for Japanese consumption, and it will spill over to the other regions.

Nope, no flaming, just a LOT of down-playing Wii and making sure it is BURNED onto our retinas they really don't like the Wii all that much. Funny how they used almost the exact same arguments as some members here on C3... Smilie
