Nintendo Wii News | More Kirby on Euro Virtual Console

Exclusive - Whilst surfing the PEGI European ratings website, Cubed3 has discovered the addictive puzzle game 'Kirby's Ghost Trap' from the SNES has been added as a Virtual Console game, meaning it will hit the PAL download service in the next couple of weeks. Great news indeed!

    This is basically Mean Bean Machine / Puyo-Puyo...but with Kirby all over it. Since this is coming, it certainly bodes well for the superb Tetris Attack as well at some point! Smilie

    hmmm interesting, never heard of that game!

    I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

    Ive seen this before, it looks like a fun game if your into that sort of thing. I think I prefer Dr Mario. LS

    Kirby's Avalance rings bells, but Ghost Trap doesn't. Probably mentioned it in NOM once or something.

    I probably won't be getting it, I'm not one for puzzle games.

    For some reason, when it comes to Kirby games Nintendo feels the need to constantly change their names. It's the same with Kirby Power Paintbrush (Canvase Curse in the US, Touch! Kirby in Japan) and Kirby Mouse Attack (Squeak Squad in the US) for DS...weird!

    The PuyoPuyo puzzle games are great, Mean Bean Machine is cool, but the Kirby iteration was always my favourite. It got unfairly overlooked in the UK (along with the Kirby golf game, which I hope re-appears, plus the star-stacking puzzle version!), so it's great to see a comeback...
