Quick News - Nintendo has opened the official website for the Paon-developed DK Jet Taru Racing on Wii, which shows the various control methods in action. The game hits Japan on 28th June. Just check out the tabs down the left on the website below for all the videos:

    Looks alright, but waiting on previews of this one are essential. The danger is that is far too generic and does not attempt anything radically new.

    If so people will wait on Mario Kart unless the are die hard DK fans. LS

    I have faith in Paon to bring something decent to the table after the immensely fun DK King of Swing...and DK Jungle Climber's looking good as well Smilie

    This looks to be running on the Double Dash engine, though...hardly spruced for Wii. Not a major problem, however.

    The other GC project I can't wait for is Kirby! Smilie

    I'm not expecting anything particularly clever with this, really. Seems to me that it'll just be a fun little racer.

    It's a very nice gesture to those that were looking forward to Donkey Kong Racing, though. And to fans waiting on a proper, new Donkey Kong Country.

    And those complaining in other threads that Nintendo shouldn't be wasting their development resources on games like this should keep in mind that this is being worked on by Paon, a developer that is entirely independant of Nintendo. I'd like to know why exactly some people think it's a waste of resources, though.Smilie
