Great scenery, me likes.

Aye, seems like a top stage - hopefully the classic Coneria level will make a return also.

Sweet, looks like a great level, but so far the levels apear to be small and kinda samey, it looks a lot like battlefield from SSMB and the newly released Yoshi's Island level.

I want them to release HUGE or moving levels like Rainbow Road and Hyrule Castle.

There needs to be a level like final destination, Best battles IMO.

It sure looks nice, but I'm worried about the growing amount of very basic set out stages. When are we going to get some stages that are not only set out differently, but are huge? Stages like Hyrule Temple on SSBM, or stages with obstacles as part of the environment etc...

Y'know?

As said above, the stages announced seem to be quite small. I hope that this isn't a side-affect of making the game slower as Sakurai briefly spoke about before.

At this rate, the next one will have a flat playing area with a different arrangement for the 3 platforms.

Has that ship appeared in a Star fox game before? It looks kinda familiar...

Well, the worst case scenario should be that the stages you can play online will be limited like in Mario Kart, someone is bound to hack it anyway, but some stages like this may be the things that make online play possible...

It should be fine though I reckon, Mario football works great online.

EDIT: As for the ship appearing before... I havn't seen it... if it did it would be on the original or Command, the 2 Starfox games I don't own. ^^;

There could be lots going on in this stage judging by the look of it, and has no one though the ship might turn to it's side a lil like in the first shot?

Love the look of it, guess it will have load of steller Starfox hazards to contend with. [LS]

Very cool, moving background level. That is awesome, all the levels are moving now, which is good.

It's a bit samey.

I always preferred the stages that are big, but not massive like Hyrule Castle.

We need more of the Starwing and Pokemon Stadium arenas, like there was in Melee.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Seriously, I want to see a bit more thought and diversity in the actual layout rather than the art direction. That said, pokefloats was taking the piss.

But, I guess those levels will be unlockables.

These are the normal levels now. I am glad that at least the normal levels have moving backgrounds, because it does make the game seem more fun. I really hope they make a level with as much movement as Big Blue, that map is so fun!

But come on, for a still map it is very cool. You go through raging space battles, asteroid fields and through planet atmospheres. These visuals are what I am after, and really do improve the feel of the game.

The Yoshi Stage is just like old Yoshi stages. a few basic platforms and obstacles around the edge of the stage to stand on, based on Yoshi's Island themes.

This stage look's good it's not as good as brinstar depths from melee though.

ULTIMATE WII GAMER!!!

I can't wait to use Wario's butt smash. He's bound to have it like he does in 'Strikers.

One can hope.

Anyway, looks fantastic, should be a really fun level to play simply for the visuals.

Plus, those complaining about variety and size: have a look at the trailers again, you'll see there is plenty of variety.

The second picture from the top looks amazing! I really like that there seems to be as much level variety as in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

If there isn't a level based on the Great Fox (Preferably even bigger this time, because the one in Melee was surely HUGELY scaled down) the whole game fails. It was easily the best one

Smilie That looks fucking awsome, i love it! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Just think something: If these are the regular stages, imagine what they'll do with the unlockable stages O_O

How do you know all of these aren't unlockable stages? And the stages that you start of with in Melee were the best ones anyway...

Not really, Big Blue and Brinstar Depths were incredibly fun to play.

Big Blue is annoying... It's kinda funny when you land on the floor and keep jumping in a vain attempt to get back to land when there aren't any vehicles around, but it's just annoying to fight on. I kinda like Brinstar Depths, but it still isn't as good as Hyrule Castle, Corneria or Green Greens.

The classic Mario levels were awesome though.
