Nintendo Media | Smash Update: Zelda Ocarina of Time Medley

By Jorge Ba-oh 26.06.2007 24

Today's update on the Official Smash Bros. Website brings a gorgeous musical arrangement of popular songs from the Nintendo 64 classic, Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Among the songs played in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time were many famous tunes that had a profound effect on the future of the series.

We're using those songs in an extravagant medley here

At the risk of messing up another thread accidently...love that music!

One of the best updates on the Brawl website so far, really liking this arrangement! Hopefully the matching level/story will look equally as good Smilie

This is great news, a medley of Kondo masterpieces always adds to any Nintendo game, but when it's Zelda music it's even better. [LS]

I think the music sounds great, but I'm hoping that not all the music will be as orchestrated as these ones, I'd like some funky tunes in there as well. Or maybe even some accurate remasters of old tunes.

Am hallucinating or something.... the forum is fucked up again!!! Smilie Ok i need to lay off the sugar now!!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

It's somewhere between muzak and a tv tune.

I like it.

Aweshome! Very nice, like the fast beat to the old tunes. Nicely done indeed.

That's an excellent piece of music there. Defiantly one of the best updates in music so far, especially when it's music from Zelda and all done in orchestration form. If only they did this sort of thing with Twilight Princesses music.

I'm looking forward to new musical updates in the future.

Why did they go for an OoT arrangement when LttP, MM and even WW have much better music?

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

That really sounds nice, and actually sounds different. Smash Bros is turning out GREAT.

Wow this sounds wonderful. This game is going to have one heck of a score, they better release a soundtrack.

I love how it switches between songs.

Cool!

Grumbler, it says they picked OoT because of its influence on the future games.

sounds good now...but some different kind of music would be good too...>_>

Just hearing Zelda music, makes me want to play Ocarina of Time through one more time.

Smilie I quite like that, it sounds pretty awsome! Smilie

Somg of Storms, Epona's Song, Song of Time, Saria's Song, and Zelda's Lullaby, am I correct?

And no need to bring back an old thread.

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.
