It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

They're remaking another one.

CALLING ALL SQUARE-ENIX STAFF, WE WANT NEW GAMES.

Quite seriously this trend they have of remaking early FF's for the DS is doing my head in.

Its better than nothing, Lightmare.

No...it isn't.

If Square-Enix want us to buy their games, they should actually make games. So far I've heard of very little original content from them, and as Sprite points out, this will be the THIRD version of Final Fantasy 4.

Sooner or later, they'll run-out of remakes to do. Just be patient.

Actually they have been making quite a few original games

Heroes of Mana
Mario Hoops 3-on-3
Final Fantasy Tactics A2
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime
Children of Mana

Of course I do agree there overusing the Final Fantasy worlds for there games.

Then they can remake the remakes.... don't worry its happened before in the movie industry.

Thing is this is a remake of a remake.

Fair enough comment Blade, but the only game there that isn't a sequel or a spin-off is Mario Hoops and they still managed to get some Final Fantasy characters in there.

Children of Mana

But a stain upon the Mana name. Honestly, Secret of Mana is my favourite game, but this is dire. I'm having a hard time making myself play this game.

I know i know it's a shame and i wish they would spend more time creating diffrent worlds and launchng new franchises even it is basically the same game
I guess there just paranoid and slap Final Fantasy on everything, even if it's a completly diffrent game all togeather but the games are still diffrent from each other and are only connected by name most of the time.
Then there is It's a Wonderful World which is looking quite unique indeed.

Agreed. Take the FF name off and everyone will be happy. The games have never had anything to do with each other, like you said. The sad thing is just having those two words and the roman numerals on the box probably automatically increaes sales quite a lot.

Wonderful World is looking good, yes.
