Erm, again the title of this feature's a bit of a lie. It's a Namco franchise.

    Its based upon this point:

    A Nintendo franchise will be brought back from the dead and shown at E3 (could this finally be the Kid Icarus update?);

The RPG could (hopefully) be chrono trigger, If square enix are there. And the franchise could be kid icarus (I'd imagine it to be like god of war) or it could be punch out!

Kid Icarus Wii is a must. I hope it's a 3D platformer with Pik's Bow being used via the Wii Remote by targeting with IR and holding A and B down and letting go to fire arrows. The B button could initially bring you into target mode like in RE 4. The Z button could be pressed repeatedly to maintain flight. *prays for Nintendo to make it happen*

I am all for EVERY single classic NES game being revised in some form on Wii. Kid Icarus is a great start, I just hope they make this game easier than the NES game is Smilie.

A sequel to Chrono Trigger would drive RPG fans the world over crazy with excitement but I doubt it's going to happen. I dont know if SE have ever been asked about the possibility and what they have said in reply. [LS]

Stupot obviously didn't read it, the RPG is a sequel to ToS. Apparently neither did Oni Smilie

However, I'd like to point out the most important three letters of this news piece:
    IGN
They're not three letters which should be taken lightly... IGN rarely deal in facts

I'm so pleased that there are people who listen to these podcasts and pick out the key points - thank you!

I tried to listen to one of IGN's podcasts and had to turn it off half way through - it was one of the most nausiating things I've ever listened to. :/

    Arr I hate IGN. >_>

Anyways I'm really happy to hear about a new Tales game coming to Wii. As for a resurrection of a dead Nintendo series, I'm interested to see what it will be although I'm not exactly excited by the prospect.

I've seen a lot of people hyping up a new Kid Icarus game, but I really don't understand where the love for this game comes from. I only played it this year and I thought it was *horrible.*

It's probably because it could be really good if it had some decent art direction and they kept it all Greek-mythology themed. They'll probably bugger it up if the end up making it though...

And I still doubt there will ever be a new Kid Icarus game. I have ever since the random rumours about it came out of nowhere about 2 years ago...

Well it is a NES game. A modern version of it could be good.

Geometry wars galaxy is looking sweet Smilie

As for ToS sequal well hopfully it will be less crap.

ToS2 will only be good if they only keep the battle system and throw away everything else.
It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

They could improve the multiplayer, was good fun beeing able to battle in coop but it was REALLY boring sitting watching the game and waiting for the next battle.

Tales Of Symphonia sequel? Better not be a "Tales Of Symphonia" alluding game like Tales Of Legendia!!!

Oh man, I can't wait for the ToS sequel. The first one was one of my favorite GameCube games. I'm excited about it. Real-time battles RPG. Woo!

I also can't wait to see what Matt says about Metroid 3.

Tales of Destiny had a sequel. Tales of Symphonia is popular. I don't see why it can't be a sequel. The fact that the title says "Tales of Symphonia Sequel" instead of "New Tales game" implies it is indeed a sequel to Tales of Symphonia.

Anyway, I'm sure as hell not convinced about the ToS sequel. It wasn't in Namco Bandai's line up. I'm betting a rumour that went too far.

One day I will be a real life anime.
