E3 2007 Video | Super Mario Galaxy Playtest

The first snippets of gameplay footage from the upcoming Mario Wii outing, Super Mario Galaxy, have surfaced revealing eager E3 show-goers getting hands on with Nintendo's iconic plumber as he ventures into new worlds in outer-space.

Infact, everything about this game looks awesome... words cannot describe how jealous I am of those people who got to play it.

So... is anyone here on C3 going to E4all?

EDIT: Seriously, why can't all Wii games look this incredible? In every way? There's no reason. At all.

Best looking Wii game by far, I don't understand (like others) why every Wii game doesn't look this good.

I'm just waiting for someone to go "omg look at the bad texture here".

BREAKING NEWS: I was just watching an interview with Miyamoto on Gamespot and he said there will be a BOO Costume on Galaxy but he didn't say anything else... Smilie

Awsome news so I'm guessing there will be other new costumes in the game that haven't been on previous Mario games! Smilie This is definitely starting to become my fav 3D Mario game and i haven't even played it yet! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Super Mario Sunshine on the Gamecube looks better than most Wii games so far, especially the "OMG that thing is actually selling, let's port something from the PS2 quick" stuff.

This game is a breath of fresh air. Of course, maybe that's why it showed up a year after launch rather than at launch.

I don't remember ever seeing it before...

I love the look of the new Bee and Ghost powers, they look great. I hope there's more than just those two. And maybe the fire flowers will return? In fact using the Wii-mote to point where you want to fire to would be perfect... Smilie

Graphically it's looking sexy. I want to rub the screen all over myself when the water appears... ;-;

Yeah, it was shown during the clip Ninty played during their conference.

My god, the water...and that fur (man, does that sound so wrong!)! This game looks absolutely amazing. Smilie

Graphically, this game destroys just about every other game on Wii. It looks incredible, just look at that water and fur, it looks stunning.

As for gameplay, it's also looking perfectly developed. I love the new Mario suits; it brings back memories from Mario Bros 3.

So far it's looking better than ever, I just can't wait till I get my hands on it this Christmas.

My Wii will probably break down in tears due to the overwhelming joy brought on by such a game. (It can do that!)

Now if only every Wii game looked that good.Smilie
