E3 2007 Screens | Project Rygar Relives on Wii

Tecmo have revealed the first screens from Wii-take of the PS2 franchise of the same name, Rygar: The Legendary Adventure.

Certainly does look PS2ish, and very much like a generic RPG, though the whip/chain thang puts thoughts of a Castlevania wii style. I wouldn't mind giving a virtual whip a few cracks. Even see if I can get a Muscle bonus..Woot

It's a platform adventure, in fact I owned Rygar NES, it was one of the first games I bought. Your main weapon is this thing he swings around, not that, his weapon called the Diskarmor. It's basically this sharp disk on a chain that does damage. [LS]

The main character model looks great, just like the artwork they released.

DAMN IT....TO HELL
When will this stupid PS2 to Wii port end. Give us some respect and great a quality game for the Wii from the ground up. MP3 and Mario Galaxy at and now since the E3 2007 show has officially set the new standard in quality production level. Anything else (like wack PS2 ports) will not bold well with Wii owners.

3rd part developers take pride in your work and your software will sell on Nintendo hardware. Its that simple.

When all the cheap developers who released games on the PS2 and ignored the gamecube because of the difference in sales have finished milking every last penny they can from their old games.

I wanted to play this game back when it was on PS2, but I never owned one. Artwork was great, and it was bloody hell bloody... I mean quite gory.

And almost all PS2/Wii games look crap on stills. Please watch videos and don't bash right from the start!
