Quick News - With the massive success the DS Lite has had in South Korea since launching early this year, it is no wonder Nintendo sees that territory as a strong investment. Now, though, it is also going help local developers make localised computer game programmes. An attempt to lure them onto a service like WiiWare, perhaps?

Sounds like a good move, Korea does have many small gaming companies, with most of them in the MMORPG department.

It sounds like Nintendo are making yet another clever move here, but I think this may be more related to DS software initially than future Wii software. I had no idea Korea had a notable developement community, but maybe that's the point. If Nintendo get great software as a result this scheme which I think sounds great it should be employed in all such places where there is talent to be tapped.{LS]
