Nintendo News | Track & Field Resurrected for DS & Online!

Quick News - Following early speculation, Konami has confirmed Track & Field International for DS coming in 2008. The game will have 20 events, 8 characters, a special Konami character, 4 championship modes, character designs inspired by Marvel Comics, Worldwide Rankings, tournaments and downloads (all online).

What else could it be? What popular Konami arcade games could it possibly be? Parodius, Track and Field...?

Parodius would be sweet but I think it's likely to be Gradius Adventure. Track and Field is now on XBL I think, I may get it, button mashing has never been as good since. I had a amazing Long Jump I recall, they were good times Smilie{LS]

I'm pretty sure Track and Field (the arcade game, don't know about the console versions) gave AT LEAST as much of a workout as any Wii Sports game. You'd destroy the DS the first time you played if they translated it faithfully.

That's a point he's got there!, it would not last long. It must be Gradius or Parodius, or one of their lowly titles form the past.[LS]
