Can I just confirm that FFCC DS is NOT online? I remember hearing this change a while ago but wasn't sure if it was for the Wii game or DS game.

If FFCC for DS is offline, then that's a huge disappointment for me, seeing as FFCC was born for online play. As long as the Wii version is online though, I'll be very happy.

Also, anyone know if the DS and Wii versions will have compatibility?

It does have online elements, but just not for co-op play as people initially thought. Also it doesn't require you to play through the adventure with friends...the single-player mode is fantastic; so different from the GC game.

I'm just finishing off Gyakuten Saiban 3 / Trials & Tribulations, but will try and play FFCC: RoF more and do a hands-on for it. Fantastic game, really is!

Wow. Great SP-mode would be awesome. CC on Cube had some flaws in singleplayer. But was fun, thou. In Multiplayer - played it with 3 friends - it was awesome.

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

CC on the cube was ONLY fun in multiplayer.

Thats why I'm so sceptical about the choice to make this single player adventure only, effectively.

OMG!! I want!! Smilie those lucky devils! I can't wait 'till it comes to the west >.<

So FFCC DS is still online in some ways & it still have CoOp? What's the CoOp like? & how many carts do you need?

I liked the 1-player of CC on GameCube so if it's improved for DS then I'm gonna be very happy.

What sort of online elements are there for CC DS?

- The online is something to do with Moogles...nothing major, I don't think. Not sure as I've not tried it personally.

- Local wireless multiplay requires each person to have a copy of the game.

- I also enjoyed 1P in FFCC on GC, but I was really pleased it had been made into more of a traditional Secret of Mana style effort, with puzzles thrown in.

- I'm about 95% through Gyakuten Saiban 3 now and have started the review. Cracking game...certainly going to get a 9/10, might as well tell you Smilie

Great start for FF CC. Wonder if Mario Party 8 will reach the million mark.

Quite a major drop for everything following the holiday period of Obun in Japan...The hardware side especially took quite a heavy knock.

Seems like Wii hardware is indeed being re-routed to the US to boost supply there...
