Nintendo News | EA Storm The Playground

By Mike Mason 30.08.2007 1

EA have announced that their mini-game collection EA Playground will be released on Wii and DS on 2nd November 2007 in Europe. Coming from EA Canada, the game is part of EA's casual games strategy and is aiming to provide playground-based frolics for all the family. A single-player mode, where you aim to become Playground King, is also included - and who wouldn't want to be king of the playground?

While the DS and Wii versions have been developed in unison, they have each been tailored to make the most of the systems' unique features - meaning that the games on offer vary between the two, with a couple making their way into both versions. Here's a nice list of the games on each format.

Wii
• Dodgeball
• Paper Racers
• Kicks
• Dart Shootout
• Wall Ball
• Slot Car Racing
• Tetherball
• Freethrows
• Bug Hunt
• Dribbling

DS
• Dodgeball
• Hoops
• Hopscotch
• RC Racers
• Bug Hunt
• Kicks
• Skate & Sketch
• Spitballs
• Trampoline

I'm looking forward to "Kicks" the most. It sounds really innovative. Smilie
